Mac 1.0 doesn't work?

Hi there - I'm running OsX 15.1.1, and the 1.0 Mac version doesn't seem to work. It tells me that the program is 'damaged, and can't be opened'.

Normally with these, it's due to OsX's over vigilant security. However there doesn't seem to be an option to override the security settings in 'Privacy & Security' this time - it seems like OsX really believes the program is corrupted, rather than just a suspicious app. Any thoughts on how to get past this?

previous comments suggest "sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/CoQ.app" which has worked for me. sudo at your own risk ofc in terminal. make sure CoQ.app is in your applications folder too

Bingo - that one worked. Thanks!

If this doesn’t work try: sudo xattr -c /Applications/CoQ.app  https://discussions.apple.com/thread/253714860 couldn’t get 1.0 to work until i tried this. maybe the quarantine didn’t work for me because i still have an old version of the game going?
