Please allow us to Enslave Subordinates (or use them for Factor Upgrades/Task turn-ins)

Hi! I enjoy the game, and have been playing it since a much earlier build, having done several runs over the years now.

I'm on a new run on the current build, and I find I have no reason to recruit subordinates from the four guilds. For one, the main story quickly fills our roster with unique characters, and we have far from unlimited roster slots. For two, the unique characters are starting to have children, and I like raising and using my offspring. Because of the limited space, this means I will never want to recruit subordinates either from the guilds or in dungeons.

It used to be that there was a purpose to them; we could either use them for Factor upgrades, or trade them in for Minor Tasks. But now, they are useless. I came to this realization as I was spending Guild points to upgrade their rarity, and then realized I would never have a reason to hire them.

Please allow us to either enslave Subordinates, or to use them for Factor increases, or to trade them in for Minor Tasks. I feel like I'm being barred from making use of a whole section of the game, unless I cheat or mod to give myself more roster space.

Not to mention that, as observed by other posters, Slaves are better because you can give them specialized training, whereas you cannot, for Subordinates. There's apparently a sort of Shrine you can find randomly that you can enslave people at? Very rare and inconvenient, and you'd need to have the Subordinate with you in a dungeon and luck into it..

There is. Also subordinates gain more mastery points based on their growth

Oh, do they? Does it say that anywhere in-game? Or is it a secret?

It's a recent change, gotta update the tooltip
