Proposed changes

I love the concept of Net Driver, but I feel like some things could be changed to make the experience more enjoyable:

User Interface

  • Allow the player to choose to save username/password in the login screen
  • Use color coding for the interface buttons, to more easily identify the purpose of the buttons
  • Standardize the behavior of the buttons on hover to identify which interface elements are clickable (e.g. "Status", inventory items, inventory tabs, the inventory "Back" button, the "Garden" button, the buttons in the "Lock" menu ...)
  • Use color coding when an inventory item is selected
  • Add visual feedback when an inventory item is used
  • Deselect an inventory item when it reaches "0"

Gameplay

  • Receive a "Gift" of meat every 12/24 hours to avoid fatally falling to 0, in the manner of "VPET"
  • Indicate a danger level on duels to evaluate missions
  • Allow to orient the search for objects on the internet on a specific type (by modifying the danger level for certain categories?)
  • Increase very slightly the statistics of the digimon when a mission/search is successful
  • Allow to put the digimon in the "fridge" to not have bad surprises when you are completely absent
  • Modify the duel against Fran so as not to directly face a defeat when you seem to be in the tutorial

I may have other suggestions, I have only just started!

NetDriver looks promising and I hope it will be better in the coming weeks, best regards!

you cooked, except for the stat boost every mission. Depending on how is this added, it can be quite OP

It should be a really small boost, just like when you win a fight with the "VPET" or a battle in "Digimon World", no one must rely on it to get the evolution he wants, but it gives a reward for having participated in an activity (which, sometimes don't give anything).

This game 100% needs more changes, right now It's more brutal than even the most archaic Digimon games. All the problems compound in a way that makes the experience just bad.

*First the game needs a "safe" option to make money, every current option runs the risk of running into a Digimon battle you are unlikely to win

*Shops should always have the essential items like medicine stocked,if limited item is to be a thing, drivers do that well enough.

*This isn't really needed, but Life spans/periods between digivolution should really be longer, it's pretty much impossible to completely train a Digimon well if you are working under just a 24-hour clock(people got to sleep and stuff)

*Mission searches as said by the guy above need higher success rates, but  I'll go further. There shouldn't be ANY blank results, given how valuable stamina as well as time is in this game, and the player should at the very least be reward a random low-teir item(like a regular meat) or 50 or so bits.

I enjoy this even despite it's faults, but it most certainly needs work.

The safe way to make bits is gardening. Plant meat to get big meat. Plant big meat to get sirloin. Sell sirloin for 125 bits. Acorns sometimes grow golden acorns worth over 300 bits.

I agree that there should be less 'misses' when surfing the web. I'm ok with some misses but almost all misses is too much. Codes are not clearly marked as what they are as a reward. That could be fixed, too.

I agree that mons need to live more than 24 hours. 48 would be better.

Yes, I am aware of those (I've yet to get an Acorn yet) , But right now the game needs more safety nets to prevent softlocking. Also tutorial code drops should refund stamina. There is far too many and a lot are just useless after your first 2nd or 3rd Digimon.
