I really love horror/puzzle games where the premise is going through someone's phone/computer/account and trying to figure out what happened to them. I've noticed that these games don't have a specific tag, genre, or even collection. Any recommendations?

I owned this game on steam a couple of years back, and it fits your criteria. It simulates a GUI and it's a choose your own adventure game. You piece together a failed relationship. It hits right in the feels rather than the goosebumps.
