Clothes/items confiscation event usually doesn't trigger when captured.

Hi all!

I deleted my message before because I thought it was me making a mistake in settings, but it seems not. The new feature where the player's character goes through a procedure of losing her outfit and items when captured is a really great addition. But for some reason it doesn't usually trigger. In most cases, whether through clicking the 'capture me' button in the menu or losing to enemies, either you're taken to a local cell or to one of the faction prisons and you keep all your stuff and your outfit because that confiscation event to take them away just doesn't trigger. So you end up sitting in a cell wearing whatever restraints, but with all weapons and items and original outfit still present throughout.

Rarely, it still triggers, but mostly not. I thought it best to post about it and leave it in case its helpful.

Thanks!

Hmm, theres a timer that resets when you enter a chase I believe, but not when you click the button. Ill have to check

Yes ok. I tried to see when it might be happening but it's hard for me to tell. If you're taken to a local cell, faction prison, cage, display stand or one of those storage crates in Doll Processing the confiscation event rarely triggers. It fact it has never triggered in Doll Processing for me, nor after losing to a boss, as far as I know. Outfit and items remain.

Thanks!

Firstly thanks so much for the new updates to the game.

I was testing the confiscation stuff again and that event triggers more often now, including moments when only your weapon is taken away, and then another event for the rest of the stuff once you're in a cell/cage/etc. Which is a really cool immersive thing. I don't know if that part's intentional.

But also, for some reason it's still very hit and miss. Sometimes the weapon is taken and that's all with no follow-up confiscation, and often none of it triggers, especially in Doll Processing where it seems to be only weapon or nothing, leaving a mix of doll restraints but original outfit on your character.

Admittedly I'm excited for these mechanics to work every time because I love the immersive captured and imprisoned procedure in this game, but more importantly I'm following up in case it helps development.

After playing quite a bit more since the latest release the confiscation seems very consistent whenever taken to a regular jail and also triggers more often for cages and display stands. It's mainly the faction prisons (at least those I've experienced) and doll processing that are unable to fully go through the confiscation of items/outfit. I wanted to say it had something to do with when the player's character is in Prisoner status, and that maybe it was interfering somehow, but I'm really not sure now that these partial triggers where only your weapon is taken show up after Prisoner status has been active for multiple turns during a capture.
