Why won't Itch app open?

Hi. I downloaded itch.io through linux in 2024 months ago.  Recently when I try to open the app it shows that its loading with a spinning circle on it but it never opens and it stays like this for weeks unless I restart the chromebook. When I restart the chromebook and try opening the app again it just does the same thing. Today I tried using chat gpt to figure what the problem is and I wasn't able to find  solution. Here's what I've done.

1. Restarted chromebook 2. Removed linux environment and Added it again 3. Removed the itch-setup file and tried downloading again 4. Tried downloading with flatpak 5. Tried to see if I could force stop the app but it isn't listed as an app on my chromebook so I can't  6. Looked for the itch app in task manager but nothing related to itch app was there

I've been sitting here for hours trying solution after solution given to me by Chatgpt but nothing works. If anybody has any clue, please help

We don’t directly support chromebook. I would try launching the app with linux terminal so that you can see any error messages that might be printed. Hope that helps

If it is Ubuntu, it needs apparmor profile as described on Launchpad bug if Itch sandbox issue is still not solved or Ubuntu settings changed. But Itch has not this apparmor setting established yet.

Still –no-sandbox added to .local/share/applications and also to .config/autostart could also solve this,

or could use itch setting with not to use sandbox but this setting don’t work

or something not so standard required like firejail, but this seems strange…

if on Chomebook, something Google strange could happens…
