pls put whales that appear randomly and you have to scare them with a new weapon like a harpoon
An Oceanic Survival Game · By
what I think will be good is:
more kinds of fish
more weapons (bow would be a good one)
add birds maybe
and the last one I think will be good is or an island in the island there will be maybe animals (like cows) which you can breed and also hostile animals (boar, bear, wolf) will be some great examples. the axe will be more useful there for chopping down trees. and my favorite idea, add canibals or wild people in the island.thanks for reading!!! I love your game developer but I think at least one of these small changes will change this game for good and it will be more fun to play.
I like your ideas because wild animals uff if it would be worth it, Otracosa that I would really love to put treasures or trophies if you understand that if you complete all you win something serious mut mut. To add boats to register
Please if you like my idea I like it if you can see if they imlementan changes
my ideas 1 add more animals such as turtles and seagulls and more types of fish 2 some kind of reinforcement so the shark does not break the ground 3 that when it is day finds to put under the roof not to sunbathe 4 rain night storms and tornadoes 5 mini boats and island to be able to use as base the initial raft 6 fish traps Harpoons 7 cold and hot
This game has so much potential. Although basic at this stage, it is so addictive and fun time killer. Here are a few suggestions:
Keep up the good work developers. Really looking forward to this game.
Hallo,
I have 4 ideas.
1. throwing spears, because running to the shark is often to slow
2. maybe Birds you can cook
3. a multiplayer would be nice, 1 player 1 raft, 2players 2 rafts which are a little bit far away so the one try to go to the other player
4.Difficult, maybe that by easy 0 sharks, normal 1 shark, hard 2 shark which are more aggresive and doing more damage and having a little bit more health (not 3 times stabbing they swim away)
it would be nice if one of them could be done.
Hey everbody! :)
I don't really know if any of these ideas were written here already (I mean there are so many of them...)but I wanted to share some of my ideas with y'all.
My Idea list:
-Islands:I know it sounds pretty strange to add islands in a game where you have to build your own island but just read the following 2 sentences and you'll understand what I mean^^.First of all you can craft a little boat (that breaks after some time in use) with which you can discover some new Islands. On these Island there could be some new resources like Gold, Iron or just some new plants like an Apple Tree or something like that. And after a little time these islands get flooded by waves or they just sink in the deeps of the ocean.
-Maybe new animals: Birds, or fished that we can see (just to make the game look a bit more realistic and interesting)
-Weather and Day-/Nightcycle: As it says, there is day and night and sometimes it is raining, sometimes it is sunny and sometimes there thunder.
-New Weapons and Upgrades:Bow and arrows,a throwable spear (harpoon), torches or candels (to get some light for the night) and maybe some upgrades for some tools that already exist in the game like the axe or the spear.
-(Multiplayer/Co-op-mode)Of course that something that nearly every player want to have in this game but as the developer said, a co-op mode is a big feature and a game like this so we shouldn't expect it in the near future.
Finally i just wanted to say that these a are just my personal ideas and I know that its unlikely that all of these ideas will be added in the game.We all have many ideas and all these ideas are great but the developer is also only a human and he also needs some free time in his life.Just the fact that he puts so much effort into the game, to the community and that he releases the game totally free is really, really awesome and praiseworthy ! :)
I really look forward to new updates and if the developer continues to put so much time and passion into the game, I am confident that this game will have big succes.
Nice weekend to all of you ;)
Raft is my new favorite game but I really like animal games because they do not put a bigger shark like a white shark and the normal shark can tame ymaginense domesticate a tubiron and you can go for the oseano but the other bigger shark you I could kill it I would like it if they were that thanks and keep picking up that beautiful game :D
Hello, really love the game and hope you keep on developing it.
I know it's early days yet but here's some ideas I'd like to see,
Day/Night cycle ( more dangerous at night ) , will need lights.
A dredge, rope and metal, throw in and drag back to scavenge items on the sea bed. ( maybe different metals )
Crab pot, throw in and wait.
Diving, items on sea bed, very dangerous
A diving weight, get down faster
Reinforced wood, takes 2 attacks to fail
More items to craft/build with some sort of automation eventually ( conveyor to empty nets into chests... that sort of thing )
And what about a dolphin, feed it and it brings you items or chases the shark away for a while.
Add a weather system/rain...
Add durability on axes, and other tools...
Add more uses for scrap, scrap fondations...
Add myb a spear gun for sharks
better skin for sharks/other types of sharks
add wrecked ships/special loot in them
myb u can make the palm trees fall when cutting them
add waves
add night/day system
xD i know its too much
You should add Stamina Bar, Campfire, Torches, Day and Night, something special to find in the waters or add a little island at the edge of the map :D, add the ability to swim in the water, not just on top of it. Add glass and plastic so you can do something with them :D, add buckets, carrots, bread, wheat(like you would need to put it on a cooking station or you could add a drying thingy or something) and also please add multiplayer if you can / if you have enough money to run the servers :)!
First of all I really enjoyed playing this game so far, even if it feels a bit clunky.
But the thing I don't like is how fast the thirst and hunger meter drops down. I know it's part of the difficulty in survival games, and I'm sure it will get easier after some playtime. But seriously, this is a major problem with most of the survival games out there. Let's push the thirst and hunger to a way to fast rate, and BOOM you got survival. But that's wrong in my opinion. Drinking 5l water every few minutes is no fun and not even close to be realistic. There should be other ways to make the game more difficult. How about the sun (heat), mental state (panic/fear), diseases etc. The possibilities are kinda endless compared to the simply way out with fast degenerating thirst and hunger meters.
Just a quick idea.
Cheers
New methods of fishing
Creation of boats and docks to explore islands (for example)
fruits
vegetables
New materials
New fish
Beds and cycles day and night
Different foods that feed more or less than other foods
Buckets to contain more water
Lan and online cooperative mode
clothes
temperature
make fire
I love this game! I see a great future!
I was thinking while playing the game if Markiplier would ever play it. And then I thought of something that may attract him, and would be something lots of people would like.
I was thinking about some of Mark's nicknames because he had so many. And I just happened to think of his nickname "Markimoo" when a shark attacked. So Thought it would be pretty awesome & funny if you added a shark that had a pink mustache, an iconic Markiplier image. But make it so that the shark has a 1/1000 chance to spawn when you kill them (when you attack them when they're eating your platforms).
I just thought this would be a cool add-on, like a little Easter Egg :3
Thanks guys I'm a survival game addict and having fun so far. You are on to something here, even in it's current basic state Raft is addictive. You'll make a killing on Steam, should you decide to continue developing Raft as the quality of your game already exceeds some of what is on offer there.
Suggestions: (trying to keep the current state of development of the game in mind)
Potatoes and trees are overly easy to grow - maybe add a watering system (boiled water) to the growth cycle and seriously increase the amount of time it takes food and trees to grow. Different kinds of veg/fruit, as already mentioned, would be grand. Fruit at sea you ask? Well we already have potatoes :D
The hook and fishing rod becomes obsolete very quickly. Once you have potato plots, killed a few sharks, and have built your raft to catch all debris these items are of little use. Suggesting sharks drop less meat, (thereby keeping the fishing rod in play) and shark skin, placoid scales is a source of rawhide leather, which opens a world of opportunities for additional item crafting.
Eventually (I know this is asking a lot) - Day/night cycle as well as rain. Night time and rain decreasing visibility. The cooking station has a pretty nice base, maybe this can be modified into a permanent fireplace of some sort, utilizing wood as fuel to provide a light source on your raft during night time. Fireplace can be upgraded with a shark skin canopy to still be useful while raining. Rain can directly provide water for your plots/trees.
Fleshing out health management by introducing seaweed as a resource? (trying to keep to the lost at sea theme). Traditional Chinese medicine uses hot water extracts of seaweed in cancer and goiter treatment, not too much of a stretch I think for us to use as a source of medicine. Food/water alone should not be enough to recover from a shark bite.
The durability of tools to decrease slowly. Because scrap is easy to come by and quickly enough you start throwing it away.
Horizontal stairs, check. The amount of space needed to built the (very pretty) stairs currently is a bit much to use often. That brings me to another point. The very nice crafting mechanic in Raft begs the player to built something nice and fancy (read big). Whether horizontal or vertical. The shark mechanic of attacking in random areas forces the opposite. If you build too big, (or high) you often risk losing pieces of raft before even reaching the shark.
Two things come to mind. 1 - Shark bait. Using several fish and rope (and a coconut for buoyancy?), tying shark bait in the sea to the raft/dropping it near the raft, to attract the shark attacks to a certain area, with a limited lifetime. 2 - Some kind of repairable fortification that can withstand more than one shark attack, or requires a longer attack before being destroyed. High resource cost (lots of scrap) to limit how many you can build in a given time, thereby not entirely negating the danger of shark attacks. Other restrictions can be imposed on fortified tiles by not being able to fish over, use the hook or fill up your tin can in that area. Already I've found surrounding my raft with cheap to make nets on all sides greatly reduces the danger of sharks destroying tiles with important structures, especially pillars. Regularly rebuilding nets because I was busy on the 2nd floor and could not reach the shark in time becomes a chore after a while.
make it have little bit story like fall from ship or something like that
And also ad some mechanic
Example: u can make computer chip wrench Etc
And you also can make radio and something else to comicate to people
also item that can detect your coordinate so people can help like helicopter
I have another idea too like a Day time they use shark but at night the shark sleep
so u can explore under water too find some item
Example:seaweed ,soil (for tree i mean where the soil comefrom if not from under water),rocks, coral,Etc)
Hello my name is Lucas why you can not make it so with the metal the same things as from wood building that would be really cool because thus you do not have to constantly repair as the wood so needs the hai longer to break it, And it would be nice a few torches and a bed reinstall and the the box has more space and you can make a better spear tinker and thus also chase fish and a wurfspeer so that the hai can be harm from further away that would be My ideas for a patch because I find it so cool but also somehow boring ;) LG ALBILP
-For added difficulty, you should start off a game with nothing! I mean you could swim and get the items to craft a hook
-Maybe tool durability
-More kinds of crops! (carrot, corn, or whatever)
-When you drop an item, it doesnt look like a barrel but maybe something
-Small islands maybe?
-birds? maybe for decoration or maybe use it for something
-shark must have lot of damage. i mean irl a shark wont kill ya in maybe more than 10 bites lol
my suggestion is add this game to steam
this game I say is worth around 10$-15$ and there will be some benefits such as
more views
the developers will get more money so they can work more on it which will get them to make more updates
you can easily add multiplayer if its connected to steam like its not that hard.
Also you can see feedback better and there's a better developer page and it's just a whole lot bette
NO I AM AGAINST THAT please dont do that some people cant use money on games they are not allowed to and etc. and they cant play good games like this I dont think that will be fair to make the game priced it could be pay what you want and on steam greenlight but it should be free at all times because think about the people that likes this game but are not allowed to use money on things so dont be selfish yossi123 think about other people
well first sir the developers need money to develop the game it's only 10 bucks your the one being selfish here man it's 2017 most kids are allowed and anyways you think it will not be priced just cuz of 5 year olds who's parents don't allow them to buy that game from steam? Putting raft on steam is really good it will advertise raft more and also it will be easier to add multiplayer there. And sir it's not my problems that your too poor to afford a couple of buck
very good idea on putting it on steam greenlight but just so you know they need more money than that they want to work on it full time and btw when your saying most kids are not allowed that is not true. A lot of kids now days are allowed games online because buying games Online and not just games but shopping online has become a daily life for most people so I'm pretty sure on your birthday or something when a kid asks his mom or dad if they can buy them a game for 10$-20$ I don't really see any reason for them to say no it's just like buying them a game irl just instead of irl it's on the internet like a video game
Ideas
Weapons - Bow has multiple purposes one to shoot the shark in tight spaces where the spear is unable to reach. Also if a rope is attached to the bow then you can shoot fish in the ocean.
- Fire bomb can be used to throw at the shark to hurt it, and if on kill cooks the shark meat on kill. Also can be used to throw into the ocean killing the fish also cooking them while they appear to the surface. Side effect if to close to wood can be set on fire :/
-Dummy Shark attacks the dummy which gives time for the player to attack the shark.
I think you should add story into the game, the reason why you are stranded out in the middle of the ocean, for example you were on a ship and you crashed, which leades me to another idea which is going underwater and finding more resources that you cant find on surface ( sea weed,sand,rocks,left-overs of the ship),which makes me think that if you are underwater, you can find the ship and go into it and find even MORE resources that are not available to find on surface, which i dont know what, but you could also find barrels, scrap and all..and i hope that the dev wont add any guns or any technology that we have today, like i hope it will be based around older times..
That's all of my ideas,i really enjoy the game, and i rate it 7/10,if it will have all these features i mentioned in this comment, this game will be legendary.
Love from Slovenia <3

Hello, today I would like to contribute a few ideas for your game, because I find it pretty cool (although still in development): Example: When using the oven to cook and cooking water must be used fuels such as wood; from the sea with a variety of fish and more resources; Athens has some weather ... and I hope I am not too much to ask, would you please make my ideaHello, today I would like to contribute a few ideas for your game, because I find it pretty cool (although still in development): Example: When using the oven to cook and cooking water must be used fuels such as wood; from the sea with a variety of fish and more resources; Athens has some weather ... and I hope I am not too much to ask, would you please make my idea
P.S: Sorry if my English was bad.
Hello, I love this game.
Here are some ideas:
- arrow and bow, or guns that can be built to get other ships. (Maybe in the multiplayer other ships entern or Bots, of which one then loot gets)
- Medicine
- Multicolor for example: walls to paint.
- Get more stuff from barrels.
THINGS TO BUILD:
- Stone walls (The stones can be found on the sea floor) - (The hai can not destroy the stone walls).
- beds (made of palm leaves and wood)
- Build a motor to drive with the raft. (For example, oil, metal, screws that can be built from the metal).
- Build a pipe of wood which goes to the bottom of the sea to take oil from the earth.
- From oil and metal one can then also build a lighter. With the lighter you have to turn on the grill.
- Larger cooking stations (For example: 2-3 potatoes at the same time to grilling).
DECORATION:
- Lamps
- tables
- Bank
- It can be night.
PS: I come from Germanand the text was translated with Google translated
Hello,
İ think it would be this game multiplayer.
It would be nice to play with Teamspeak or skype.
Need to be improved:
-Difficulty
-Night
-Natural disasters
-Armored blok (metal) for shark
-Powered shark or 3-4piece shark (or difficulty)
-In the other direction incoming items.
Sorry, i have a bad english. These are my suggestions, Good Games :)
you should add shark traps for example (2x spears + 5x rope =shark trap)
beds, day/night cycle, torch to scare away shark, more kinds of food, multiplayer server so that you can travel to other peoples rafts with a boat for example,
you should also add a story where you for example have to travel to other rafts/islands in search of a flare gun, when you get the flare gun you can shoot it, but then 5 or 8 sharks attack very often until you get rescued maybe 1 day later.
i know im being very specific but its just a suggestion.
Hello!
My idea is change the game style: The raft now seems stay in one place and the waves coming toward the raft.
What is my idea the raft moveing in a linear way and sometime reach an islan where the player can hook the land to anchor the raft and gether what he can from the island.
Maybe lower the loot what now the players can get and this way the island"raid" is could more important.
Secound idea finding other floating rafts and "raid tham"
I know its not easy to code maybe in time.
Kep up the good work for this awesome game. :)
I suggest to make the game kinda online so me and my friends could play this game together . And if you add this online mode you could make that people could pick how much people are playing in a surtant server. And you can include:
1.individual rafts for people
2.more supplies in the ocean/sea
3.different kinds of fish not only makrell
4.designs of characters
I played it for 4 hours straight and it seems pretty decent.I didn't get bored once so that's a huge plus. The game is so simple and amazing...but I noticed that the more you play the less barrels and planks you get so you could fix that. You should also add other animals like crabs (food),more fishes, diffrent sharks (sharks have diffrent abilities,so if you have a tiger shark they will only attack you while youre in water and only a hammerhead can destroy buildings),cows (milk , food),sheep (for bed , decoration). Also add plants like wheat (bread) and grass (decoration). You could add new constructions like bed (for passing time ,faster growth of plants but has a chance of 2 shark attacks because you sped up time),fences (so cows and sheeps can't escape),doors (decoration),reinforced foundation/floor (Double more health than normal foundations or floors). Also when you place a pillar on a floor/foundation they are taken and you can't put walls on that spot.
That's all for now :) Maybe I'll find bugs or maybe I'll think of another suggestion. Thanks for this game I've been playing it for 4 hours straight and after this post I'll probably play another 3 hours.
Keeping making this game great it has alot of potential.
here's a few ideas:
A new tree type for more strong/ durable weapons/foundations/items
More fishes+ fish tank?
rare ball you can find that says WILSON in blood (castaway reference, add this plz)
bait for better fish? EX no bait= mackerel and rare bait = bass?
a system where some items are more uncommon than others
BEDS PLZ
day night cycle
AND NOW FOR PEEVS:
You can barley see the leafs while floating it water (forgot name)
The shark teleports to the fogline once he dies
items fly above the fogline in distance
items floating towards you dont blend w/ fog
Otherwise a great and creative game! cant wait for more updates!
NOTE: All of these ideas are not mine. About 60% is what i collected from reading tons of ideas on the "Suggestions forum". I've only made this thread for people to see all the ideas that are currently talked about and to have everything in one big thread which makes it much cleaner.
GAME PRICE SUGGESTION: 15 - 20$ When it's finished ( i suggest uploading the game on steam for more people to find ). But it shouldn't be less than 8$.
INTRO: Maybe like ARK, you wake up looking at the sky, you get up and look around you and the only thing you see is a small raft and a shark.

15-20$ could be a price when the game is finished with tons of features. It shouldn't be less than 8$ because then its to cheap, and to put a game up on steam for 100$ then also to upgrade the game engine and servers would cost a lot of money, so they need to earn a bit.
After I checked for more ideas I saw that some people posted some of the ideas I came up with myself before I did, so technically they posted the idea first but I was writing it down before they posted it. In addition, I went more in detail about certain ideas which most of people didn't do, from what I've seen. For example, Underwater adventure, character stats, EXP system, game settings and environment.
New biomes would be great for this game. Maybe add in temperature some time later on as well.
Location ideas:
Some in-game options would be fantastic. Like, I can never actually hear the shark? I would think a shark angrily gnawing on a wooden structure while flailing around in the water would make a lot more noise :P So different sliders for game sounds, like ambient, music, player, creature, etc.
The ability to shift-click items between your inventory and the chests would be nice.
Please add a hitpoint display to the nets like the foundations have. Also, I feel like one plank should repair more than it does, considering that right now, it makes more sense to just build another one rather than repair.
I agree with a day/night cycle, that would be sweet. Weather too! Think about storms, blazing heat, etc.
More variety of fish you can catch, just adds some flavour (ha) to the game. Also, a greater variety of trees and crops. I'd love to see some citrus trees, like orange trees... or maybe lime trees, to play off the old 'limey' nickname. Some purely decorative plants would be nice too, maybe some tropical flowers. You could have a plant pot for them that looks like it's made out of half of the mini barrels that you see when you throw out an item.
And oh goodness, yes, furniture. Beds/hammocks, chairs and tables at the least. Maybe benches. Also, a need for sleep/rest. Doors? Thatch roofs?
Nets for fishing fish, maybe a system that means you actually have to have a balanced diet, or else you get sick?
More uses for scrap metal! I find myself throwing out a ton of scrap metal because I just don't have anything I can use it for. Maybe an ability to upgrade your wooden structures to be clad in scrap metal for extra durability against shark attacks.
An ability to throw the spear? I think this would make more sense than adding a bow and arrows, since, where are you going to get the feathers unless you add seagulls or other ocean birds.
Scenery stuff- like the occasional whale breaching the surface now and then. :) Rare pods of dolphins swimming by and jumping out of the water and playing. They could temporarily scare away the sharks.
Enemies- You could have crabs coming up onto your raft and pinching your toes, haha. Of course they'd be eatable once you stab them with your spear. Other foes too, like an ultra rare megaladon, an angry squid, etc.
I'm not sure how I feel about the island idea? I guess how you could do it, is have very small little islands go by rarely. You'd have to either hop off your raft if you're close enough, or risk the sharks if you have to swim a bit. There could be some rare resources laying on the island for you to pick up, probably mostly botanical. Then you have to race back to your raft and hop back on, again braving the sharks, before your raft gets too far away. Could add some excitement into the game.
Anyway, I just want to add that the development team is doing an amazing job, and I wanted to thank you all for such a great game. It has so much promise for a prototype! Keep up the great work!
I think you should add something more exciting like islands where you can get supplies, also add so that you can steer the raft somehow. I know the game is early in development but it has potential, just make it a bit more exciting in some ways. Also add glass for windows, more kinds of fish you can get, make it possible to put walls on walls, make walls able to support floor, add roofs, add rain or other different types of weather, make waves, fix so that the shark goes under the raft, not through the foundation, make it harder to survive basically. Love the game this far but it definitely has room for improvement
your basiclly saying what MOST people are saying which is to make the game more like stranded deep but its not. That said i would also like some small island and glass but i think this would be a better idea... just like Hawaii, makes small underwater volcanoes that u can take sand from the island and use a metal lava station cooker thing to smelt it. just an idea tho. :)
how about : 1. more fish variety with different effect ( poison, make more hungry/thirsty , the fish have different percentage for the hunger)
2. more crafting recipe/ingredient
3. add some more room to the storage
4. add different weapon for killing the shark
5. add more enemy ( more than 1 shark, another killer animal like eagle, seagull, and orca )
6. how about some way to going in to the water
7. maybe a little island ?
i am in love with this game. It is so fun.I plan to do a video on it borrow.(not big youtuber) But for ideas add flowers, fish, more area around the stables, able to destroy the cooking area and the water cooker, add more plants, make muiltplayer.if this was for sale I would pay 20 to 30.if it had more things in the game.
Hello developer .... I have got an idea which I saw thousands of people talking about ,They suggest that why you don't make a phone version start with Android then IOS it will really be the best idea I personally loved the idea and I just wanted to suggest it here please do it because it's so awesome !
and thanks ...

Try adding elevators, I know I like to build up and I'm sure others have too and it takes a long time to get to the top.. make the spear able to be thrown so if your to far away from the shark you still have a chance.. have an option where there is no shark because after a wile the shark just becomes a nuisance, or have shark herds lol, you could also try train the shark by feeding it fish every so often so it didn't attack.. you could also try adding small walls so that the coconuts didn't roll off.. and those are all I got for now, I would really like to see an elevator though cause I'm 24 stories on one build right now and still rising lol.
greetings, this game is really nice and i have problems to stop playing it but i have a tiny suggestion, the most ideas i had are already listet here and i do not want to see all the 700+ pages but i would like to have a short cut where you are able to choose the amount you want to store ore take out of the chests oh and maybe something like getting better in building so you can build larger chests as you evolve by building alot.
Thank you
I think it would be cool if there were multiple kinds of sharks, not sure if suggested before but some are stronger/more agressive according to how they are in the real world ocean
from what i've looked up in the last couple minutes this is the "top 5 most agressive/dangerous to human" sharks:
I think it would be cool if each of them had different traits and strengths so if you got for say a great white which is the supposed strongest it would break your raft faster so you have to act with a sense of urgency and would add some immersion to the game.
I would like that you bring something that you can interact with the ocean. Maybe go diving ( but shark still attack you ) with a harpoon or something. Maybe a sail which drifts you in other oceans.. maybe with ice peaks. Or that you find a lonely island ( just a small island 3x3m ) and you can swim to the island but with a timer so that you can only be 1 minute on the island.
i would like aswell some stuff to build a house.
And some "technical stuff" when you are in the Sun = water goes faster down. when youre in the shaddow it goes slower down :D
BUT AWESOME GAME DONT GIVE UP :D
A thought about food and water.
You could have both hunger and thirst diminish at a set rate, but for thirst that rate could increase while you're in the sun, reverting to a lower rate when you're in shade. Likewise hunger could increase while you're using tools, before returning to the base rate.
This would allow you to introduce a reason for the player to build shelter from the start, without making it overly difficult in the early game.
(my bad english) I think, that it's very cool game! I have many ideas. I think you need to add a decoration hammer, which will put various furniture. I want many objects to build. Day and night cycles, new trees and plants, resources and items for survival. I think, now the game is could cost $ 4-5.
One suggestion is to either increase the sharks health some more or reduce the shark meat drops as i have found that i dont run out of it before i get more.
As some others have suggested add defences against sharks.
Increase the shark attacks by about a third of the current time.
Add a temperature system where you have to keep your body temp at the right level.
To go with the previous suggestion add clothing to aid the temp system.
Different types of sharks.
I love the progress of the game so far keep up the bloody good work. :)
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, You have a lot already, but I want you to listen to the next following things:
Relocation of Items (water purifier/cooking statin, etc)
You should make it smoother -- Don't ge me wrong the game is AMAZING and I believe it has a lto of potential, just it is laggy on some PCs
Make it harder (eventually) - - You should be able to add other things like 2 sharks, or less items etc (EVENTUALLY) don't make it impossible to play
Have some tips...like I had to try a lot of things to understand how to make a second floor and why we could make pillars....and I have to admit, pillars are very important
Add hit bars -- (on shark and on your foundations because sometimes you think you will get there in time but you don't
Add informations --- (have a brief description of what each thing does)
Multiplayer option - Self explainatory
Throwable objects - Already explained
Some of them have already been said, but are great ideas
I honestly think this is one of the games with a lot of potentiall that I have seen. This is a very created game that presses you to watch out of your surroundings. It is a mix of creative and survival. I believe that this game is great as it is, but you could make it even better. The fact that the game is free is bezarre! I really appreciate people like you who make these types of games and I am honestly grateful that you take your time to listen to suggestions. Best of luck!
One of my favorite Youtubers played it and he likes it too, but all this is my opinions. Thanks
Here is my suggestion,
Here's a demo video with most of the things I listed below :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lYnblP4jxI
1 # Pirates, when creating the pirate flag altomatically starts a count, when finishing the count the pirates attack your raft, then you must prepare the maximum to receive the attack and survive.
2 # Solar energy and oil, these 2 can serve to supply defenses weapons or boats, "remote control boats that watch over pirates."
3 # Water Bench, where you put 10 cans to refill and refill with empty cans.
4 # Increase the number of items you can hold from 10 to 15.
5 # System of cold rain and heat.
6 # Night and day system.
7 # Sleep.
8 # Fishing more difficult, water more time to be ready.
9 # Other types of shark, differentiated by size and color, more dangerous and more damage to buildings.
10 # Walls serve as a foundation.
11 # Shark wires.
I feel like this game would be fun with maybe some eventual multiplayer.
Some weather, temperatures, and day/night cycles would be great. A way to become to hot or freeze because it's too cold. Maybe a bed so you could sleep.
Some way to make the game more difficult, because after a little bit of playing it, you've got everything you need and you're basically living in a mansion.
Maybe some more wildlife perhaps? A fishing net? Maybe even a way to dive down into the ocean and do something. Perhaps ... a way that you could even be rescued if you build a signal or something in time, like a way to beat the game type thing.
And I feel like the biggest thing this game NEEDS, is more resolution. I can barely see anything on the resolution I have to play it on.
Add something among the lines of a research station used to discover more advanced items such as reinforced steel foundations and upgraded versions of existing items.
Add a shark attacking sound effect and make shark attacks far more frequent to balance game.
Multiplayer would obviously be awesome but I would expect a feature like that to at least be in the far, far future.
Some type of ship wreck that spawns rarely where you can discover new "modern" recipes to craft using the research station to firstly find the recipe that you use to craft it.
It would be cool if on the main menu the raft in the background was your actual raft on which ever saved game you are selecting.
A quick transfer button which innstantly moves items from hot bar to inventory and vice versa as well as from chest to inventory and vice versa would be awesome.
A day night and weather system.
Also please nerf the fishing and potato growing systems because getting food right now is far too easy as well as make tools wear down needing you to build new ones.
