Dude, this is bloody amazing. The charm is unbelievable. I'm honestly not sure what more to say, just wow. The whole scene with the librarian was simply incredible, and I was blown away by the detail put into the town. And the dude in the tower was very neat too.
I agree with what some people have said about the combat being unpolished, but when I had the parry, everything felt a lot more manageable. There was some parts that felt strangely quiet, with no sound effects or atmosphere. There was also a few interesting glitches with the art, like the scarecrow's hit animation seeming incomplete. There were a few spots where foreground elements moved slower than the background elements, which isn't really how those 3D effects should work, since things closer move faster than things further away. I also found myself trying to use down to go through doors, that could be another polish thing to add?
I really loved this game, and am hopeful that it is still being developed. I have no clue how no one's donated anything to this, have you tried opening a Patreon page? If I had money (I don't) I'd totally support the game, you just need to provide more ways for people to do so. Thank you for the charming experience!
