Hello! So, I really want to design games, but one of the most intimidating aspects is that it all feels like one big piece of work that I don't really know how to break down. I know that I want to get started with designing mechanics for an idea that I've had, and I know what I want the game to be about, but what does it look like to actually figure out how to make that something that someone can actually play? Sorry if this question is vague or anything like that, I just really don't know where to start.
