Hey guys,

Unfortunately, I don't have a mac to make a build on atm.

Regarding Linux users, thankfully, the Unreal Engine 4 is able to build for Linux. I'll try to release a Linux build for the next update (0.0.7)

i agree man i want it on mac to the game is amazing :(

I don't have enough money and I don't know what boot camping it means

(1 edit)

boot camp is a program created by mac to split your hardrive half windows half mac

(+1)

Bootcamping is when you run windows on a mac by downloading the files and such, and opening a different startup disk. If you want to bootcamp though, it costs money to get a copy of windows

i did that it works but laggy, but it works :>

Well hopfully you can release a mac version soon

Cheers;)

plz Make a Mac version.

I'm trying to use bootcamp but its not working and its a lot easier to just make a Mac version I also want to upload videos of it on my youtube channel and I can't do that due to this issue

look everyone. not all games are built to work with all OS. even is some games can they probably won't even work properly.

but its better to support all platforms so u have more people downloading the game

good point. It may take some time though to transfer to a different OS and because of the bugs he is currently fixing

(+1)

but he does not have a mac

At the moment if you would like to bootcamp it Microsoft is offering a completely free download of Windows 10.

are you kidding? where? I need this!

I'm pretty sure you need to pay maybe 1 year after you donwload the free version, and stuff like network settings are locked in the free version which is dumb. That said, if you are gonna bootcamp anyways, do linux mint or something else. It seems linux will get supported in the near future and is easy to setup, so you might as well just do that instead.

i ahve windows 7 profetional software

You can get it at :https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/...

When I use it for virtual box or dual boot my system there are no problems for me and it never even asks if you want to upgrade or if you have a key. I hope if you choose this it works.

look i want to bootcamp my computer i have no problem doing that but i need to backup my cumputer but i dont have an hard drive idk i probably have but it dose not work

i have the same problem :

when you said ATM I though you mean the automated teller machine until I thought of it for a moment and said

"....*atm*. Ooo that's what he means.... at the moment..."

lol same LOL :O

Hey Mr Creeperthe1,

I am still currently focused on the pc build of the game. In the future, if possible, i'll release a mac build.

Thank you for your interest.

ok

I would donate now if there was a Linux build

My job is to test coding for a company, so if you do want to work with macs i am your guy. when ever your willing and ready.

I won't complain about it not being on Mac though I'm sure everyone would appreciate it, myself included as I only have a macbook and would like to run this a lot. I have a suggestion that you email some youtubers' about the latest update as just saw JackScepticeye's video from 11 months ago and no offence but the game looks crap in comparison to now; it would also give good publicity for the game leading to more donation and maybe enough for you to get a Mac and finally release it on IOS!

Developer(+1)

No offence taken Smirkie266,

I did send some Youtubers copies and only a handful made videos. I don't want to put too much attention on getting youtubers to play as they need to focus on newer and mainstream content to show on their channels. However, instead, I would like to focus on making a great game for everyone to enjoy. In the end, if youtubers like it, they may make a video of it.

if there ever is a Mac version the creators are gonna get a lot more money and I mean ALOT

Developer(+1)

Hey guy,

I would like too but our situation is just a little tricky but I am still hoping to get a Mac build out.

DO MAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET A MAC AND MAKE A VERSION FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GET A FUCKING MAC!

How about chill the hell down.

Mac's aren't exactly Gaming computers... And the ones that are of decent to good+ quality to *MAKE* games on, aren't specifically "cheap" either.

If you want a Mac version any quicker than it comes which may not be for quite some time still, if you're lucky... Then A) buy them a(several) high quality Macs and B) hire them some additional workers to convert the game over to Mac.

And you'll need to get high-quality workers as well as pay them enough to not burden/sass or otherwise impede Dasius's interest or work on the game.

Don't support mac lol

Mac users need to understand this one thing: "You have a mac" therefore you cannot play games save for flash games in browser (exaggeration) and begging for support on your OS will be time wasted because the percentage of mac users is trivial compared to the windows and linux users.

Also bear in mind this is a small project and the team can obviously not afford to build on mac, and to be honest why would you because the return might not even be enough to warrant building for mac and even if it is then your game has that mac label added to it so it doesn't look nice anymore.

In conclusion mac users need to learn that "They have a mac" and so cannot play games effectively without them looking like the original Doom. The users on a mac should, rather than take to the forums to complain about the lack of mac support, get out there and earn some money and purchase a windows rig able to run this game (doesn't need to be all powerful) because it is small you can even run it on a laptop.

luv y'all ;)

I think you are forgetting the types of people who are playing this game. Most likely, some of the people who are playing this game are probably on the younger side still using their parents computers. Or, in my case, college students. In both cases, we cant just go out and get a sufficient amount of money that we can afford to spend on a windows machine. Yes, I do agree that a mac build shouldn't be within the highest of priority right now. But you should at least think of the reasons as to why people are using a mac instead of a windows machine. (Also as a side note, I know a mac machine is more expensive than a windows computer so the college argument might not make sense, but my school requires us to buy a mac through them. And also my mac laptop can run games pretty well so...)

(1 edit)

This game is rad. I have a couple pcs, my favorite runs linux, no big deal because I can play it on my windows machine np, but making this run on Linux would be rad. Just wanted to say good job, regardless if it goes anywhere other than windows or not. But seriously  Linux would be rad lol. Also I'm aware how late this post is but still good job.

Any new developments for Mac?

And no mentions since. Except for ignored one from Smellyman. It's already 0.1.0, by the way.

Last update was in August 7 '18. Is development still in progress? The game looks like fun, and I would gladly play it if Linux port is being released.

any progress about linux version?
