You wanna check if the installation folder is intact? All you need to do is located the game folder and check if ShopSim.Exe is in the folder? Also Engine and ShopSim folder is there and there is content in those folders? If there is then uninstall everything and manually download the files from the itch website.. The files are in there. I have re-installed it a few times already and I have already downloaded seperate from itch.io, both itch.io(directly launching) and from outside have no message and nothing happens.
edit: I think it seems to be an issue with unreal 4 engine. I installed the launcher, but it seems I can't launch the launcher. So I think your game is working fine, just unreal engine failing.
edit2: It seems to be related to the fact I have to use openGL to run both the launcher or your game. But I cannot use openGL on the game as it seems you don't support it (It wants the game to bake it:

Raging at the developer to get it fixed will lead you no where. The best think you can do is try to find the logs file and upload it to Dropbox for the dev to view and fix. Games can't be rushed to completion. Patience fellow the time will come
