The Itch desktop application suddenly stopped working today, presenting this message and a message about antivirus. However, I was not attempting to open the application on a computer with any antivirus installed. What could be the issue?

The computer in question is a desktop running Windows 10 (home edition), and I have had the application installed for something like a year by now.

Just some basic checks:

• Can you tell us what version of the app you’re on
• Can you confirm you tried restarting your PC to see if it made any difference

Version is 25.4.0. I was going to say "yes, it was just after I restarted the computer", but after today's restart the issue seems to have gone away.

i tried restarting while having the same problem but its still saying the same thing. my desktop is running on windows 10 pro
