I was just wondering if the promised changes to the Racial Bundle are still in the works. I have held off on really digging into those thousand plus games and other stuff because it is such a pain to navigate. When I bought it had no idea there were print-and-play RPGs in there, but I found a couple and would like to be able to look for more. I know there are a lot of tilesets in there, but I haven't looked any of them yet because I want to look at all of them at once. If you are looking for more community feedback in terms of what we want to see with those improvements, I'd be happy to fill out a survey or whatever.
I'll admit, I'm also concerned that this lack of improvements is going to have a chilling effect on Itch.io's internal feelings towards the Racial Justice Bundle and may prevent other such cool things from being offered in the future. I think it was an extremely cool opportunity to raise a ton of money and I'm sure something similar could be called upon again at some point in the future. I am worried, however, that such an opportunity may be passed over if the institutional memory of this bundle is just, "it was difficult for users to navigate so most of them didn't actually see everything that was in there." I would like to see this issue resolved in a way that gives the Itch.io team the tools to do this sort of thing again and I wanted to encourage them to keep working on it, if they are.
Edit: I'm worried that my original post may come across as entitled or demeaning of the devs who work for Itch. I appreciate the opportunity to support an important cause and to get access to a ton of great content. I know that web dev is not a simple thing and I don't believe that the devs are just slacking. I want to encourage anyone still working on this by saying thank you for your work and to let you know that I am eagerly anticipating those updates being delivered. Thanks!
