It was a short nice game.
I think its missing a counter to tell you how many you colleted at the end of the game
Thanks for playing!
There actually is one but apparently, it's missing if you aren't playing in the full screen version, we'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the feedback!
The squirrel animation is great, and I like the general gameplay idea.
I've noticed a general time limit ends up being a hard stop for anyone playing your game for any longer than that time. I didn't even know how well I did at the end!
There's a highscore system, but the end screen isn't showing up properly. Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
No problem! I hope you get a chance to play and rate my game as well, I'd love to get your feedback.
First of all, the running and climbing animation for the squirrel is very satisfying, I really enjoyed it. I also like the added danger of being on the ground, which keeps you alert and encourages you to fly from tree to tree. Although, I've had a few issues with this game. Every time I climbed on a branch the squirrel would get stuck for a moment, have a seizure, or the screen would shake. I'm not going to be picky about the design for the title screen, but I will be for the end screen. I was playing on browser and I noticed the "Exit" text is put so far to the right, that it's pushing the "T" beneath it. I'd also recommend adding something else to the end screen other than cutting to a black screen. Lastly, this game used great music and sound effects, I just would've liked to hear a sound effect for when I collect my acorns in the burrow.
Overall, I see a lot of potential with this game, the execution just needed some fine-tuning. If I were to rate this game by itself, not with how well it fits with the "Autumn Game Jam" theme, I'd give this 2 out of 5 stars.

Thanks for all your feedback, it's really helpful :)
We were aware of some issues with the colliders but, unfortunately, couldn't solve them in time for the jam.
As for the end screen, it's supposed to give you your score and your highest score but we didn't set it up properly and it's acting weirdly.
As for the sound of the burrow, we totally forgot about it when we did the sound design.
Thank you for playing!
Simple but fun game. Had some minor issues with collisions on branches, but overall I quite enjoyed being a squirrel and jumping from branch to branch. Nice job!
The art and music are great!
I loved having played as squirrel and collect acorns.
We are so glad to hear that, thanks.
It's simple! But I love it!
The animation of climbing a tree just felt right!
The only thing I would have added is a little sound effect for when you're getting nuts back in the hole.
I completely agree, the animation on the tree and on the ground was very satisfying. I was also thinking the same thing for adding a sound effect! When I first put back my acorns in my burrow I wasn't sure if anything happened haha
We will take in consideration all the feedback that you give us. Thanks a lot.
Hey! It was really fun to play! =)
Music and art are great too!
Nice game! It was really fun to collect the acorns and see the hole fill up. Music too is enjoyable. Genuinely fun game. Edit: Sry I forgot to read desc
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
