wow, great game! the gameplay itself is simple, but fun. I loved that you added some story and that you can actually finish the game and get a little cute scene, and that the little fish is growing adds so much to the story <3 Also, the pixel art looks amazing! the animated school of fish in the background looks really great and brings the whole scene to life. Great job!
Lol, I saw this in the show your game chat before the complete rebrand to actual pixel art.
Games fun, a little short imo. The Animatics and actual animations were well done to look at.
Sad that Tiamat wasn't more like her nature in the Mesopotamian creation myth. ;^;
wow, the first animation is so amazing, all the animations are great, and the narrative gameplay at the end is clean for me, so cool,
I invite you to play my game and give me some feedback as well ^^
Very relaxing little game, but I gotta ask, who's throwing all these spears at this poor little fish girl?
This is just a test for the fish girl from big mama, the fish girl is fine hahaha
thank you for appreciating our game
Great art and music. I really like the character sprite
This was my first time drawing sprites for a game, glad to hear!
Really beautifull pixel art! The intro animation is amazing, just the fish with the baby face creeps me out a little haha but aside from that, fun game!
Your psychotherapist: fish with faces do not exist, there is nothing to be afraid of
Me: making this game
Fan fact this fish is inspired by ningyo from japanese mythology and there...there are less cute specimens
Bardzo pienkna gra!
Kurvabobr bro!
Nice job on the animations for the transitions! It took a lot of tries but I think I held my own!
Thank you! The programmer tried very hard, I think he’s pleased to hear that
polished
I'm not sure I understood you, but in any case, thank you for rating the game ^^
I can appreciate how a single word can fail to present anything meaningful in terms of feedback.
The polish I speak of is in terms of something that looks like it has had a good amount of attention paid to its parts. The sprites, the animated background, and the fact that the game is quite playable and therefore it functions as a demonstration of someone's capability.
In many ways it is the opposite of a game that has more going on, but lacks overall presentation.
So it's good but it could be a bit deeper, and a bit better of a game. There is quite a lot of polish, but it feels unfinished also. Did the game come out to be what you had expected, or wanted, of it? also, do you plan to work on it further?
edit: I now notice that you are the artist. I think you did a really good job
Amazing job mate!
Art was beautiful, and the starting animation of the egg cutting off and going right into gameplay was impressive. Also loved the cutescene at the end, was not expecting it. Only thing I would've appreciated is knowing who my greek god of a father was, though I assume Poseidon because of it being a mermaid and all :P
Honestly, I have no idea who his father is and it’s easier for me to think that Tiamat simply gave birth to this through divine partogenesis or something like that х)
I mean Tiamat, the sumerian goddess of all things and the sea from which all life came.
She has a husband, Abzu, who is also a candidate for father.
To be honest, initially there was supposed to be a fight with a multi-armed Sumerian deity and Tiamat helped us survive in the fight, but we abandoned it because the programmer was barely breathing at the end of the game jam.
I will say this - despite the fact that it has an attempt at intrigue, the choice of the Greek style was mainly chosen for the "heroic vibe" reason. And this fish is also a reference to my old seteng, which all consisted of such fish with faces and had an ancient Greek-Roman aesthetic.
Wow, the art of this game is amazing! It's so pretty!!! I love the animations
Thanks dude that's good to hear ^^
Не играл, но точно круто!
