I'm unsure if it's because i'm on touchpad but there was a staggering amount of boxes all at once causing me to quickly lose money. The boxes hitboxes were a bit finicky as it seems as if you can only grab them from the center. Along with the amount of boxes, the items within the boxes would slow down grabbing them causing the line to back up. The art is really nice, and i like the concept a lot. I'm also unsure on how to use any of the tools other than the box cutter.
Play game

Hi! I like the game, it's simple to play and to the point but rewarding. I think the pause and speed/slow down buttons are a little too small. And the pause button didn't work for me. I also had a hard time opening boxes with the box cutter so maybe work a bit more on the hit boxes. But other than that I think parcels please is a fun game, looking forward to seeing the final work. :)
Hi Parcels please team!
I really enjoyed the game! My only critique is on the hitboxes, I struggled to move the packages on/off the conveyer belt and to cut them open with the boxcutter! Another suggestion would be to slightly speed up the slow mode for the conveyer, I noticed when on this setting that the packages would begin to pile up on one another at the beginning of the conveyer belt. Once again, I really enjoyed the game, you all did a very good job! Good luck!
I don't know if there was a pause button, but there was an overwhelming amount of packages. However the slow and speed button was a nice touch. I would implement a guide of button functions. The pick up boxes were a bit frustrating as cut open some of the boxes; it is unclear to player if there is a penalty to opening up the boxes or directions of what to do with each tool. A easy bit difficult; however, I thoroughly enjoyed the game.
Hey Parcels team! It was super enjoyable playing your game! I only had one difficulty and one question. As for my question how much money can be lost and how much can be gained? If you leave the conveyer the whole time what's the ratio, I only ask due to it feeling like it was close to even whether I made a mistake or not. My only difficulty was hit box for the boxes, other than that the game was fantastic and it was such a fun idea! Great job yall!
I think the concept is funny and I like the personality that it's going for! I think this is a really fun parody and I can tell people had fun making this. I will say, working with / picking up the boxes can be kinda difficult, and the speed can be kind of janky with pickup up / putting down objects, but these can be fixed and refined in a later edition.
The art style is great and the game reminds of old school flash games. The things that I would address are the hitboxes of the boxes as grabbing them could be kind of difficult to do especially when in a hurry. The amount of boxes also seems a bit overwhelming but that could also be a result of the difficulty of handling the boxes.
Hey Parcels, Please Team!
First off, I loved your art style and the feel and approach of your game. Very enjoyable and I can't wait to see the final release, but I had some problems when playing and I will share my main two concerns with you all below.
Screen Formatting (Build Settings)
I know Nathion said some stuff about this, but I am one of those people with crazy ultra-wide monitors, so let me tell yea I saw stuff that I am about 99.99% sure I was not meant to see. This means I saw way beyond where you intended the player to see, I saw past your cover belts and everything, It also formatted to cutscenes strangely and cut things off. It is very important that you do a fixed build resolution for your final release, otherwise, I can't enjoy the game.
Box Problems
Last major note, it was VERY hard to work with the boxes, I struggled to click on them and move them around after opening them. I could never win the game because it was so hard to "manipulate" the boxes after opening them. Are you using a single prefab for the boxes? I would suggest having several so you could have more unique hitboxes for each box art style.
hello,
Really enjoying the game! It's super fun, but I had some trouble making money because the crates were moving too fast, and I couldn't quite catch if they were good or not in time. Still, overall, I liked the game. Also, not sure if it was just my computer acting up or a general glitch, but I kept getting this gray rectangle in the middle of the screen that wouldn't go away.
I think you guys have made a lot of progress! I think the hitboxes are a big issue in your game and they make controlling it hard. I also think it is hard to go through each box individually in a timely manner. I am a big fan of the art direction. Good job!
