I like the art and the goofy main character, though gameplay could use some progression, to let players stay for longer:)
Love the art and animation so much! They are soooo smoothhhhh. I like the game overall, it's very nice! The only thing I have problem with is that I can't stare at the screen for too long lol the colors kinda hurt my eyes sadly. Anyway you did great for your first game!
I fw with this heavily. The animation is smoother than my substitute teacher Max. Its the smoothest I've seen so far out of the whole game jam. However, I'm not quite sure how you are supposed to avoid attacks, it just feels like you're supposed to pray that the enemies are nice enough to not hit you. Also, why do kicks deal so little damage? Kicks hurt man!
You are 100% correct, I spent all my time on the animations to be left with coding the mechanics later on in the project and it's my first game ever made :')
so I had to kinda cheap out on the mechanics sadly T_T
Simple game, really stands out with the chosen color combination.
