Loved the game and I WILL play this again. It was a little hard to move though. Adding a grappling hook would defiantly make this more fun.
Nice! The game had a very original movement system and I loved how the collectibles fell into the stage. I think you have a good foundation here if you wanted to develop further. Nice job!
Nice little game! Some feedback:
I like the combination of blue and black you used. While we are at art though I think that the parallax is a bit too much. Lowering the background movement would be great. Also, was the infinite jump intentional? You said that that the dash was the only movement available, but it didn't really seem like the player was dashing. I think that adding some dash animation and perhaps a very small cooldown indicated by an UI element.
Still a very nice game!
I would also appreciate it if you could rate mine!
Cute game! my only question is: is the infinite jump intentional (I can basically fly by tapping space)
Also to make your parallax more noticeable at the bottom, I think you could try and give the trees an outline (which will be invisible in the sky and visible exactly where you need it, in front of the mountains)
Really digged the aesthetic and background art of this. I will say the parallax doesn't make sense when the camera isn't moving though!
I kind of just wanted to learn how to make parallax backgrounds, but I think if I could do a third color and cut the height down to that of the mountains, it would be less intrusive to the experience.
Cool vibes. Enjoyed the music. I could also feels the progression through the levels and that's really great. Great job!
