Really cool, easy to get a hang of, and pretty fun! I didn't actually realize you could knock enemies into each other until I caused a giant chain by accident--great!!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Very fun little game, nice job! Kicking enemies to each other felt good.

It took me 4 tries to finish the game.

Developer

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!

It was fun once I got used to the mechanics.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I threw myself off the stage more than the enemies, but enemy pushing mechanic was very enjoyable. Art is simple but clean, just wish the projectiles were more attention grabbing. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah, the kick is pretty hard to control, but I'm glad you enjoyed hitting enemies and that you liked my art! It means a lot. Thank you for playing!

Original game. I'm afraid I'm too bad at it, though

I think a twin stick control would match the game nicely

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Twin stick control style would probably work really well, but I don't know how to add controller support. Glad you enjoyed!

cool game!!

Developer

Thanks!

Totally understand the rush - I did mine in three days too! I think you did really well with the visuals, they're basic but they totally work.

The gameplay is cool too, it feels really nice.

Do you reckon you'd add controller support?

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I'm glad you liked my art! Unfortunately, I don't know how to add support for controllers, but I'll look into it. Thank you for playing and I'm glad you liked it!

Simple, short and unique! I really enjoyed the game, especially kicking enemies into other enemies to cause chain reactions. I would love to see that particular aspect expanded upon because that kind of chain reaction is really fun to pull off!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed! I think that is a great idea and I might expand upon that in this game or future projects. Thanks for playing!

Enjoyed the simplicity of the game. Great job!

Thank you!

I like that you can "combo" and throw multiple enemies at once.

Developer

Thank you!

Definitely looks like one-day art. I didn’t expect the fast pace action, but it was awesome. Some energetic ambient music would make it even nicer.

Was that flying thing even killable?

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Sound design was pushed to the last minute as I had no time. The bird is killable by deflecting it's projectile back at it or by kicking another enemy into it. I'm glad you enjoyed and thanks for playing!

I totally understand. My first jam submission didn’t have any music too.

A superb brawler.

I was not expecting the controls to feel so tight. The targeting is perfect and I always forget how effective screen shake is, then I notice it in yet another game! I may need to incorporate it into my own game (while breaking blocks)...

Was it possible to destroy that flying PIECE OF S-i mean... monster? I was not personally able to DESTRO- ...kill it.

Your "one day" artstyle grew on me fast. It is adorable, and the enemies look comedic. If you work on this more I do not even think you need to "update" the artstyle or anything. Perhaps just some shadow effects.

This is, in fact, one of my favourite entries in the jam! Is there any chance you will work on this game some more? There could be multiple levels, bosses and more. You do not need items because the fighting mechanic alone is too fun. A dodge button could be a good addition, but I adore the "simplicity" of this game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! The bird can be killed by kicking it's projectile back at it. I'm really glad you liked my art. it means a lot. I might update the game after the jam as I wanted a to add a boss, but ran out of time. I'm super happy you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing.

P.S. Screenshake is incredibly effective and relatively easy to implement.  It can drastically improve the feedback a player receives while playing. Just don't overdo it as it can be jarring.

This is pretty fun! I love the concept of knocking enemies off of the stage.

Developer

Thank you!

The way enemies bounce into each other is super fun! A would've liked to see a higher difficulty, maybe by making the enemies move/attack more often or adding some variety.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I think the balancing could have been improved for sure. Glad you enjoyed!

i like your style, the characters and the animations on the ui like the heart look nice. I think the game is too punishing though, the enemies allways one hit kill you and are really hard to avoid.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, I think  I probably should have made it easier but I didn't have much time to balance things. I'm glad you enjoyed!
