Very nice game! I liked the style a lot and the color changing pallet of each area was nice. I think really the only feedback is the stamina system could use some tweaking; it felt a little slow. Otherwise, well done!

Cool game, I really enjoyed this one. Glad you could participated! ;)

I'm really glad you liked it! You'll be glad to know that we are planning a full release with stuff that got cut from the original concept due to time contraints, as well as new features, mechanics and content that provide a fully complete game.

I liked the concept. I like how some parts are more "bullet-hell". I just wish things would develop faster in the beginning. Perhaps making the starting area smaller and with the enemies closer could balance this. Maybe even making it more bullet hell could make it more engaging.

The color palette changing in each different area was a nice touch and lent it some visual variety despite the 1-bit limitation. It also had an interesting appeal in its simple design similar to the first Zelda game. Since nothing was explicitly spelled out, finding the ending became an intriguing mystery, even if the narrative surrounding it was fairly simple.

I do feel that the recharge time for attacks/dodging was a bit too long, but the length of time did help give the bullet dodging elements time to shine, so I feel they would only need a slight reduction in charge time rather than anything drastic. Overall, it was nice to go through!

I'm so glad you made it to the end! And that you liked the game. I'll definitely try and improve the stamina system.

I liked it! A simple concept but it was fun to play, I liked the wolf and how fast he was. Also i imagine you had a lot of fun making that death sound haha, awesome work :3

I enjoyed it! it felt like a mesh of the original Legends of Zelda (one of my favorite game) and a bullet hell (one of my favorite genre of games), great Job!

Great job, Wolf! I loved all the color palettes and the character design was great, too! Reminds me of Red from Pokemon. I really liked the chill music and sound effects. Some more upbeat boss music would have really got me goin' when I pulled up to a stronger enemy, but I know doing multiple tracks in a jam setting is tough!!

But really great, stuff. Keep it up!

Literally the only piece of art I didn't do myself was the human sprite, only because I needed a character to prototype. The artwork is from the Canari 1 Bit Pack found here: https://canarigames.itch.io/canaripack-1bit-topdown

Everything else art and programming related was done by me, while music was done by one of my best friends. Glad you like it!
I'm curious if people managed to beat the game, because there is an ending.
