What worked:

It's a fun arcade game. It feels challenging in a good way making you want to get a better score. Combo-ing dashes feels nice as you tear through enemies.

What didn't:

I felt the dash hitbox was too small/precise. I would have liked it to be larger/more forgiving as I frequently missed enemies passing just next to them.

The scrolling felt too slow at times. I think it would be better to allow the scrolling to follow the player if they pass a certain bounding area. While in the bounding area, the scroll can continue as normal, but the player can speed it up especially if they combo through a large group of enemies.

Bugs:

I also ran into the disappearing player bug. It happened twice. Both times were after a moving laser enemy was swallowed by the void. Maybe there's some trigger on the laser enemies that's tied to the wrong object? Maybe it's a phantom attack from an improperly destroyed/disabled laser?

Great job!

A fun arcade game.

The gameplay is easy to learn, but takes some skill to master. It has mechanics that show how solid the gameplay is.

The online scoring system is great, and helps a lot with the replay factor.

But I had some problems when I played, in some matches I managed to bug the game, this bug made the character disappear and continued scrolling. Unfortunately I have no idea what happened, the first time was when I was hit by an enemy laser, the second time it just happened. On the positive side, I got a better look at how the scenario spawn works.

A better polish would be helpful, but all in all it's a fun game.

Really good mechanics with a nice pixel art. I liked it!

Clearly well polished and plays really well. It's a little tough for me, I think adding an indicator to where an enemy will spawn could help. Really great job though!

Really great game! I can feel the ultrakill inspiration oozing off of this. I find it really hard though because of the movement and the number of enemies to dash through. It's certainly challenging for me.

Cool game, very good art and concept, I like the celeste style refresh of the dash. I would recommend it a little easier to tell which squares you can and can't go inside.

I really like this one. Feels fun to keep trying to climb further, and I was truly incentivized to beat the leaderboard (I have up after a while... look at Cert)

I too wish you could dash in the dash zones, it would make dealing with the enemies a little easier.

Quite a good submission. I definitely think this one is quite solid one.  The only thing I wish you could do was dash inside of the dash zones, but otherwise, it was great.

Thanks for playing,  I'm glad you enjoyed :D!

Quite well made and quite challenging! The only issue I have is the controls feel a bit clunky to use, but the art and effects look really nice.

Thanks for Playing! Sorry to hear that though, we do have an option to swap inputs from keyboard to mouse which may be the solution to your concerns!

Ok wow, realy nice one.

It took me a while to get used to that moveset but it's super neat, love how you've made the monsters stronger exactly in the place where the player is the most vulnerable, great dynamic

The game is pretty hard but I managed to get on the leaderboard, is there an ending or is it just endless survival mode ?

Developer

Thanks for playing! The game is endless so you will never achieve your goal of getting revenge MUAHAHAHA!
