Really compelling, but the jump from suno en mun to seli en tomotawa is asking a lot. Maybe a few more intermediate steps would help?

Thanks for checking out my game! It's very poorly signposted in the game, but there are a bunch of other levels between the two difficulties; the aim was that you get dropped into the hardest level, can't do it, and then have to do a bunch of other levels before returning there. But in retrospect this isn't at all clear when playing the game. Another good reason to do proper playtesting!

Thank you for the reply! Apparently I didn’t finish suno en mun and never unlocked the adjacent levels. I’m getting a lot further now!

What language is the text in the game? Would it help me play the game if I use a translator to understand it?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! The idea is that you have to work out how to translate the language in the game by solving some of the easier puzzles through a mix of guesswork, and trial and error. This then makes solving the harder puzzles possible. But I appreciate that this isn't very well explained on the game's page!

Thanks for the explanation. A side effect of a popular jam (currently 579 submissions, and ten days to rate them) is that I have to decide whether to spend a little time on a lot of games, or a lot of time on a few games. A challenging one such as yours takes me a lot of time. :)

got past the first level, but how did I...?

This is ambitious and the vibe are enjoyable. The dithering was my favourite part though

one can clearly see that you put a lot of effort into this game. i like the presentation a lot. but i think i am just too stupid to play this even after a while of trial and error :c
