it’s a pretty fun game with a nice style! i like that you have the purple shot when the timing is right, i think that adds some skill to the game and this is a good game design decision. though the small shot is faster but there doesn’t seem to be much reason to use it. after beating the boss, it seems like nothing happens, perhaps an end screen with a score would be great. good job!
At first I thought… How long should I hold space to move. But then the (arcade) coin dropped on me. Great visual. Love pixels (duh) so love the pixelart. And yes I think it ticked of all the One button Jam goals. Great game, great effort!
I really like the additive mix with the clouds–looks awesome! Varied enemies and the end boss death is satisfying. I wasn’t sure if I was damaging the end boss at first, and some graphics for impact would have been fun & helpful. Working settings menu, very nice!
