  • A good scenario and excellent art. It was a lot of fun to play.
  • The game looks good and plays very well, it's only held back by the fact that it's just half of the intended project. It's too bad I didn't get a chance to play the full version, but it was still a great experience!

I was really excited to play this because I had read about the Gardner heist when doing research for my own game. I really enjoyed this. It was well made and the art was beautiful. Some music might have been nice but the sound effects made up for it. As someone has already said, the text color could use a little more contrast, especially the one on the bartender. Fun game overall and one of the best ones in the jam in my opinion. I hope you make it longer in the future.

A little feedback was you might want to change the text color for the main character, sometimes I found it hard to read with alot of the blue backgrounds.  I know you where short on time, but I feel the hints would of worked better if they where on a flag system or you can ask questions about how and what you need to know about

I loved this game, too bad you weren't able to finish it! The controls were good, the story was interesting and I wanted it to continue.

I like the style of it, reminds me of a typical 90's adventure game.

Great job!

I love it!
1 BUG (+SPOILER):  When you give the bag of tool to the girl, it stays in the inventory.

And I honestly like everything about the game. The dialog, characters, art, puzzle ((SPOILER) the puzzle with the mom and son wasnt really hard but neat).

Nitpicky thing: Make the black outline for the dialog text thicker, please, thanks LOL

Overall, nice game.

I agree with the dialogues, I probably would have changed it to the way I had it in my previous game if I had had more time.

For the bag of tool bug, I saw it just after uploading. To be fair, everything after the discussion in the workshop was done in the last 30 minutes before submitting... so there was not a lot of testing involved to spot bugs... :'D
