  • Nice short game. The mind control led to some quite funny situations.
  • I love the 9-verb interface - and I loved your game's retro feeling, humor, and story, that was able to combine jam's theme with lovely characters and funny dialogues.
  • Full marks for style on this one! Curiously though on my first play I was able to get inside the house without the human host, which meant that I was mostly invisible for the inside, but otherwise worked well. Good sense of humour too, and brilliant mechanics. Please do more!

I enjoyed this. It gave me a feel of mixing Zak and Maniac Mansion. The start seems more polished than the ending, which is natural given the time constraints. I would love to see the story continue, perhaps even find a use for all those verbs. The mindswap is hilarious, but at the same time opens up for minor flaws, like getting the same replies with a new character, or even trying to speak to the character you now control. Anyway, well done!

Thanks for the feedback and  encouragement. I plan to have a patch out soon to address those issues. I also want to enhance the  beginning and ending a bit to setup an extended game. Most likely that would be just be a second chapter to help Ziltoid finish his mission. And yeah the current ending didn’t even attempt at addressing all the bugs introduced by switching characters. Thankfully most of that is simple to fix.

Fun entry. Like darqwerful, I especially liked the mind control mechanic. Cool idea. I'm a sucker for EGA, too :)

Excellent game! I love the story and puzzles, especially the mind-control mechanic - that has so much potential! The characters and humor are great and the art is pleasant. Very well done!

I really liked the overall vibe and the user interface. I laughed hard in the beginning: if you've never played 9 verb, God help you. Thanks a lot for this game!

This game gives me Zak McKracken vibes. The plot is comedy gold. The puzzles are descend, the EGA graphic has some color deviations, but I enjoyed your game anyway! Only drawbacks: it has some strange minor bugs and the game ends too fast. Would love to play games like these more longer! :)

Thanks for the feedback. Are you talking about the title screen and the patio door? I did switch palettes mid art and missed a few things but if you recall let me know. The patio door gradient was an intentional choice on my part but something I had other plans for besides.
