  • Buggy, couldn't finish. Text display was very slow, but at least clicking showed the whole line.
  • So many interactions don't give any response that it was hard to get a lead on what to do and what did what. Graphics were great though and the game was charming.

Very nice concept, and I think this is the first Godot PnC I’ve played, so that’s cool. Ran into a few bugs, but would love to see an updated version after the jam.

There are some bugs that made me have to start over. If you pick up more than four items, they are displayed on top of each other in the fourth inventory slot, and only the last one is usable.

Despite that and some lack of signposting, I liked the game. The story was fun, the puzzles well thought out, and it fits the theme of the jam somewhat. (I think our rat suspects he's not the most stupid one...)

I hope you do a polish after the jam to remove bugs and make it more clear what's happening. The nine verb GUI is a bit superfluos in this game, and in a jam setting, if you are not using all the verbs, you just make a lot of work for yourself because the players will expect a reaction from the game for every one of them.

The graphics are cool, and the plot is really interesting! The puzzles are very clever. One thing I found a bit confusing is that there’s often no reaction when trying to interact with certain objects. I still enjoyed it, despite a few bugs. I also love that it was developed using the Popochiu plugin in Godot!

Thanks. I like the basic premise a lot too. The dev on the team basically picked up Popochiu on the last week of the jam after some unity issues and ran with it. Now that I’ve taken a closer look it has a good workflow despite some glitches and getting started with godot. It is not as highly featured or clean to script as Powerquest yet but I’d definitely recommend it for small projects and contributions.

This was so cute and such a creative way to explore the theme!! I love rats so much, and the artwork here is adorable!

Thanks for checking out! We have more plans to spruce it up for post jam.
