hilarious and while i was a C64 kid in the US and never came across the original COD (i did haunt a few BBSs), it still brings back memories somehow :)

I risked it and got the treasure without even NEEDING the golden skull, though I do think it's inclusion is hilarious. I really enjoyed the fakeout with the alien monster door that appears when you have *most* of the fuel cans too. I enjoyed playing it, and I'm wishing you the best of luck with your foray back into programming!

Rush BomberThere are certainly some bugs to iron out, but this was really cool to play! I'd never heard of Caves of Doom before, so it's neat learning about some gaming history like this. It took me 6 or 7 tries to win.
