Love this game, really cool idea and love the execution.

Kind of gives me "baba is you" vibes with the way that it feels like there are different ways to solve the problem and it can involve some creativity but also in terms of the simple but charming art style.

Sometimes tutorials in games can feel a bit dull and make you want to skip them because they're added as an after thought, but honestly that was really entertaining and the visual aid of the game being played while you're talking me through it was a really funny, clear and helpful way to do it.

It almost looks like you recorded yourself playing for the tutorial the same way the timeloops record your actions (which if you did is really cool!)

being able to sort of mess yourself up in the game by killing your past lives is cool (and funny) and caught me out a few times.

If I were to say anything feedback wise, it would be great if when your given life first started the timer didn't begin going down until you start moving initially (like press a key to start), as I found myself almost wanting to survey the level a bit to see what was where before moving, this would also be good because that plan might change depending on where you happen to spawn.

Though I'm a little conflicted as admittedly there is also something funny about seeing my past lives panic scattering around a level as I piece together how to best achieve my goal within the time.

Overall, really awesome game, lots of levels to get sunk into aswell. Nice work on this! :)

wow ! thank u ! that is so many words. baba is you was definitely an inspiration to have a short of “shitty in a fun way” vibe. and yeah it was just a recording of me playing the game using the systems i had already coded which was fun! i this game is for a very specific target audience but i’ve found when it hits it HITS. so i’m glad u enjoyed it! thanks so much again for your comment

Crazy concept! Love the ASCII artstyle. And the tutorial was peak cinema.

Really nice and unique idea, this could definitely be made into a full game!

This is so sick!!
Watching your little freaks run about at the end in perfect synchrony (After far too many deaths and mistakes) Is SO satisfying!!   Also the fact you can shoot bullets to stop them is very useful for new last moment changes

Very unique concept, nice music, and I have a soft spot for ascii graphics. Minor suggestion but a level restart button would be appreciated so you don't have to go back to the level select every time. Would also be nice to pause the timer at the start of each level until the player starts moving so they have a bit of time to take in the more complex levels and plan their moves a bit. Also quality tutorial, explained a potentially very confusing idea very clearly 👌
