I liked the setup, the various puzzles, and the atmosphere ! I was wondering if it was intended to die continuously and from previous posts I see that’s normal. Unfortunately, I couldn’t run more than 3 rounds, motion sickness kicked in… But I’d love to see what happens when the door opens, I will wait for a playthrough :)
love the atmosphere and the vibe of this already feels omninous .... makes me think of mouthwash (the game) a bit ... on that first scenes
nice smoke and textures, soundscape is gorgeous as well ...
the 20s timer really puts you in a rush to find clues, had to read some clues in here to find what to do though, that felt like keep talking and nobody explodes
Thanks so much! Really appreciate the feedback :) The team did an awesome job with the atmosphere, there were so many little things where someone was like "It'd be really cool if we had x" and I think it really came together.
Also I definitely need to play mouthwash myself, I saw someone else playing part of it and it looked awesome
This atmosphere is great. Really like the art style and sounds, and the puzzles were fun to solve, if a bit easy. (Really enjoyed the physics of connecting the wires)
Very good! Though it did take an embarrassing amount of time to figure out that you could open the boxes. The vibe and atmosphere are very good. I'm no speedrunner, but I don't feel like this would be beatable in 20 seconds, so it would make sense to make it keep running, but that wouldn't work with this jam, so I get it.
Thanks for playing! :) yeah the deathloop is kind of needed for the time to complete, we were thinking about making it so it randomly selected just 3 puzzles each session so it was easier to complete. Thanks for the feedback!
I loved every second of it, the atmosphere was incredibly well built and the puzzle were short and quick enough to retry not to become too much of a chore even when I got stuck on one (the ERROR one took me a few tries to understand the correct order of operation, as did the 4 coloured buttons). In a way the puzzles reminded me of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, except without a manual reader to help me through the solving process :-D
I loved the concept! it makes a good use of 20 seconds not being enough to get it done in one go and requiring multiple playthroughts to figure out the overall game, like carrying over knowledge from previous playthroughs without them explicitly showing on the game itself. That being said, i have a few issues with it:
- i feel like the initial exposition takes way longer than the game itself, which on a first tim playthrough makes it feel like a bit of a slog (on a longer game it would probably be ok, but for a 20 second game it feels like too much)
- The method to open the boxes was not really clear on the first try, and until i figured out that i needed to drag the mouse it took a bunch of just dead playthroughs, that mechanic really needs some UI component letting you know how to open the boxes, actually the padlocked one on another room was what made me figure it out, so maybe putting that on the starting room could help as well :D
Thanks so much! ahh kicking myself for not letting people skip through the first time (it stores if the cutscene has been seen before so you can skip them once you've seen them once). I have some ideas of how we could make it clearer on how to interact. Appreciate all the feedback, thanks for playing! :)
I sent in a review and rating. I really liked the air and ambiance for it, as well as the puzzles, but I feel like it's impossible to beat it in one try. ^^;;
Really nice puzzle design, well implemented and the atmosphere is very immersive. I felt the tension building up while playing it. One thing I would modify would be turning the filter effect down a bit. Great job!! :)
Love the style. Very well done! I REALLY like the tactile feel of pulling the containers open and dragging around the wires complemented by the sound effects, they make the game feel really good to play and are easily my favorite part of the game. Cool use of the 20 second limitation, I dig the time loop and trial and error gameplay.
I couldn't beat the game because the last puzzle with the four round buttons filtered me, I feel like it's not entirely clear which one's the correct button to press and which one is not. I tried every combination and only got to two green(blue?) lights but nothing worked, I'm not sure if it's some bug because my friend said he managed to finish it, but he said that he also brute-forced it. Also, the mouse sensitivity is too high for my liking, it wastes precious seconds when I accidentally make a U-turn lol
Ahh, yeah I was tweaking the colors of those a while back because one of the members of our team is color blind but I think I mucked it up a bit. Thanks for playing! Appreciate the feedback!

Great atmosphere! A full game with a bunch of rooms and puzzles could be quite fun.
Thanks! Glad you liked it! :)

An exciting and cool experience, this machine!!! It kind of reminded me of 999 for the DS! (+cool soundtrack)
Thanks for playing!

Still, nice job on it, fellas.
Thank you so much !

Thanks for playing

oh this was really fun, i love how you keep your progress between attempts, and the story and vibe are very cool :)
Thanks, appreciate it! :)
