Good graphics. I passed all the levels. The big slug sometimes didn't fall into the pits.

It has a few bugs, like you can get stuck with the big guy, or you can fall through platforms. Also, I think you should either create an easy restart option (like pressing R will restart the level), or design levels in a way that you can't get stuck, e.g. on the 3rd level if you go down to the left with the small character, you can't get back up.

Cool game though, I liked the visuals, and it has much potential.

It’s not caused by level design, but the way how character moves. I’ll rewrite that part

Good art. At level 1, a big player can push the box hard and it won't fall into the pit. It is better to move the pit closer to the wall or make the pit wider. Couldn't pass level 3 (didn't guess how). The previous 2 levels were interesting.

At level one, the problem is not with the surroundings, but with the box itself. Maybe messing up a bit with the Rigidbody or collider (making it a circle seems like a solution) may fix it. Could you give me more info about the 3rd level? Did game become boring or smth? Why didn’t you try? Maybe you did not figure out that the colors of the buttons and elements connected to them match?

I passed. Last time I didn't think to go to the left (my mistake). By the way, when a big player goes to the left, he does not always fall into a hole. This is solved by jumping.

Developer

ok, thanks. I do already know about the bug and’ll fix it in the next version

good art

This is quite good for a demo. The art for the red slime looks a bit weird for me, though.

Also, I messed around a bit and made the red slime cling onto a door (slightly off the ground) somehow. Is it going to be able to wall jump?

Developer (2 edits)

Nope. It’s happenning because I did not mark doors as ground for some reason and movement script doesn’t abort movement on collision with doors

Cool, entertaining. Art is good.

Controls are a bit wanky, you can fix it if you read about platformer controls. How jumps and movements should work and anything like that. For this type of games it should be not so slippery. Also struggled a bit with cramming into tiny holes, especially with this crate you need to move at the first level.

Thank you for the review! I’ll continue working on movement system then. Added your suggestion to the board.
