An interesting jam game, I really liked it! I hope you'll update this after the jam, I'd love to play it!
Thanks! Absolutely yes, we will give more information after the results of the jam ^^
I got 13750, nice game! I think it would be nice if when you press left or right the ship locks into each track. Too many times I was just slightly off and missed. Still a great game, nice job!
Thank you for your feedback and congratulations on your score!
We're already working on the "post-Jam" version of the prototype, the logic you say for the movement is interesting and I'll put it in our notes, thanks! ^^
Very cool, love the use of colours!
Thanks! ^^
Great stuff, really love the retro feel of it all!
Thank you! :)
Looks, sounds and plays great, it's well polished, and I loved the retro arcade feel it has! Awesome game!
♡ Thanks!
Great polish!
Thanks! ^^
Great game! Feels complete and like everything goes together. If you were to add anything, I would recommend a penalty for hitting cubes with the wrong color. I was able to spam all the colors and still get points from the cubes. Overall loved the game.
Thanks for your feedback! Surely in future updates I will first implement a better system for scoring and defeating enemies ^^
Haha really like the retro style :D and I would add a spam protection in the future, maybe like a cooldown on each color or just like Chicken Invaders has that weapon overheat.
Thank you! ^^
Yes, for future development we will definitely add many more appropriate features! Thanks for your feedback
Amazing game! Cool! I like it very much!
☆ Thank you!
The stunning graphics and relaxing music make it a true gem in the music game genre. Player reviews confirm that it's one of the best games of its kind. If you love music-games, 'Starxia' is a game you can't afford to miss! Of course, counting the fact that it's a Jam game.
:0 Your words touched my heart, thank you!
Like the arcade style and feel of the game, nice game
Thanks!
Cool
^.^ Thanks!
Fun game that completely represents the Jam concept that winks at the old arcade games.
^^ Thanks!
Fun and simple little game - easy to pickup and play. I would have maybe liked the colours of the blocks to correspond to the colours of the ABXY buttons so I didn't have to keep referring to the key in the corner. About halfway through I realised I could just spam all the buttons and missed shots wouldn't have any negative impact on my score
Thanks for your feedback! As for the advice on button-color matching, that's definitely something I'll work on better. As for the "smashing buttons" and no penalty, to be honest it's a bit "deliberate" because while I was creating the game my son was trying it and he had a lot of fun pressing everything while dancing and - for this prototype - I decided to keep this harmless bug ^.^
Very well executed game. This feels like proper arcade game
Thank you! It was exactly the feeling I wanted when I was creating it!
Cool Game! Music was nice. I had a bug free playthrough which is always nice. I think my main recommendations would be to make the notes correspond to the the music playing and fully embrace that rhythm game style! Right now it feels more like space invaders with audio visualizing enemies, which I definitely fits the theme. Good Job!
Thanks for your feedback! Having everything managed by code I started with something "light" but the idea is to create a complete system as you say with more music tracks, different bonuses and enemies and the possibility of uploading personal music tracks.
Very nice! I love rythm games. Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
I like this idea, a unique twist on a rhythm game!
Thanks!
A great demonstration of skill, and it's fun too!
^^ Thank you!
Fun game! Gz
Yeeah! ^^
