Yeah, had a bit of fun making it all happen, but in retrospec it was very taxing as well

Buddy, thanks for the kind words. There were certainly some things we could have changed that would have made it better. That is what happens when you are close to the project. QA testing is important to ensure players and others understand what it is they need to do. So, great feedback. We have made those changes already and will be updating them with our post-results update! Thanks for playing. I will take some time to get into your game tomorrow afternoon.
Really enjoyed the playthrough on this one. I liked how the damn buggers kept spawning and pushing me to focus. I was stupid and didnt think I could just use the mouse.... should have read the instructions I guess! Otherwise, very fun and I can certainly see this being made into a mobile game. Keep up the great work.
I agree, the scroll wheel does make 100% sense. I was thinking on this during the stream and wanted to see what, if any, choice would be better and the only thing I could think of was a timed zoom based on the holding down of RMB. However, upon further thought this would complicate the distance focus so, I am not sure there is a correct button setup.
It didnt honestly hurt the score, just some thoughts that I had. Real cameras have manual focus and auto focus, perhaps an auto focus that took a bit of fiddling to get right would add the same feel but leave less annoyance on the player. I loved the art and the overall theme of the game. Great submission!
Lastly, I got some real vibes from the old pokemon game where you had to take pictures of them. I half thought it would be that when I started. :)
Wood (fire) allows you to kill monsters faster, and the boss. Snow (ice) allows you to keep your ice wall up longer. The goal should be to stay 10 rounds, but if you dont keep your icewall up it wont happen. Also, the turrets run on those things, so for the hoards of enemies (that we didnt get to add in) you would need those resources. :P
We wanted it open for a reason. I think fun little things like this are what make a great game. However, most of that was due to running out of time. 2 days (1 day wasted on idea) for a jam is really hard on a full 3d game. We have plans to expand upon it and tighten up those things, or make them part of the map.
Thank you for the review. It is very rewarding to see people play and understand how/why they might get stuck on things. A good ol' tutorial would certainly do wonders to help ease players in. I tried to use the orange arrow things to point people in the right directions but it seems even that is no match for humans free will! If you would have completed all 5 sites you would have seen the end screen. Thanks again for testing it.
