Your visual novels are always quite enjoyable, and you do well with establishing existing dynamics between the player and the characters right from the beginning, which is awesome! In general, choices in the game are meaningful, which is very important for a visual novel - all of them contribute to the ending or the romance path somehow. It was also a smart choice to help break up the "acts" of the story mentally in the player's head by transitioning from text to exploration back to text, and gives the player a greater sense of agency, even if the end result is the same as just clicking a choice of who to talk to. It feels like you're actually approaching the character, which builds that connection. The density of text definitely becomes a problem if you intend to replay, since there's no built in rewind, but that's just a result of moving away from RenPy into Godot and can be fixed with time. In general, more choices, especially near the ending (which included a LOT of third party exposition) would break up the long stretch of clicking too. Super cute and full of heart, and just as a narrative it holds up well, as evidenced by the fanart!

No game jam is complete without a visual novel entry LOL. What a lovely little surprise! Very charming cast of characters and a cute style to boot, with so many differing dialogue paths that you could've chosen from my gosh! The little overworld section to choose who you want to speak with was a great way to break up the text-only and wished there was a little more of that. I enjoy the development from the nice facade of the circus into the dark revelation, although the dynamics of the story itself feel a little imbalanced at points. There isn't too much time to connect with the characters going into the emotional climax, so stretching out the first half would've been fantastic. I know that it's difficult to write a LOT of dialogue in such a short amount of time though so I still commend what it is here. Thank you for fulfilling the contractual obligation of VN jam submission 🫡
Also I relate to Luna's introversion on a spiritual level

Every game needs a character with a "go work your cringe 9-5" shirt. It's amazing. I want to bake that man into a pie I love him so much.

I really loved this game a lot!! Pumpkin boy is my new waifu <3<3<3

The only thing is that it was a lot of dialogue, and I wish you could do more stuff walking around
