Man this was insanely well done,  such a polished feel....great sound, music, design...just really impressive and something to aspire to one day. Just super good work. So impressed.

Love it! the MGS feeling is so good!

For 2 weeks it's just mind-blowing. MGS atmosphere is all around.

Great game! The game really has a polished feel that you wouldn't expect from a 2 week jam. The level design is thoughtful and exciting! This game demonstrates the "show don't tell" philosophy perfectly. Nothing felt unfair or too difficult to learn! The vibe provided by the SFX and music really tied the piece together. Great work!

This game is an awesome love letter to MGS!

Such an incredible game! I love it! Replaying every level to get that S rank was super fun and there's so much variety in the levels!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Congrats on all S ranks, I wasn't sure how many people would actually try for it, and some of them are pretty difficult.

The levels are short enough and the restart time being nearly instant made it really fun to keep trying things and restarting and learning which corners to cut. They all felt challenging but fair to me!

I loved the gameplay and sounds too. You've set Nice and Fun levels. I just wanna ask that how can I get S rank!! because either I din't understand level goals; lol, or I guess it's time based ranking.

Developer

The rankings are time based. S rank can be pretty tricky on some of the levels.

I think some of the sounds are identical to MGS, but whatever it is - this is a well polished, PSX looking MGS clone - I love it, amazing that this was done in 2 weeks!

Absolutely dope. Only issue I think I had was during the Follow the Light level. Initially got past the first set of cameras, then the second set moved before I got to them and they never rotated back around. I assumed it was intentional, just left me confused at first as I waited for them to reset. That final level was probably my favorite. Really put my memory to the test. Awesome work.

You should have seen the first iteration of that level, glad I got some folks to play test because it was even more confusing before haha. Glad you liked it, thanks for playing!

This is great! Graphics really remind me of Metal Gear Solid, and the music is very fitting. Unfortunately it crashes for me on the 4th level (missing some .dll file) on windows7. Yes I should update!  Will try out the Linux version a bit later to see if I can finish the game before rating :)

Nice job

Developer

Hmm the dll file should be included with the zip, did you extract all of the contents?

Submitted(+1)

Re-downloaded and extracted again and it worked no problem :) Not sure what was going on the first time.

I had a lot of fun with this, level design pacing and difficulty curve was excellent. Great ending sequence as well! My only very minor gripe was figuring out the controls. At first I did not even realize crouching and knocking on walls was an option. Would have been great to have either a tutorial level or tool tips.

Awesome game :)

Phew, glad it worked on a second download 😅. Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed playing!
