Nice one ! I Enjoyed the easy pick up and play aspect. Everything felt reallly intuitive. I also liked to fast paced stealth type of gameplay, I think it has a lot of potential to grow in a killer full fledged game.

One aspect that could be improved however is how the camera is handled. I  found myself relying  a bit too much on the minimap to progress efficiently, some time not even watching my cute ball roll and dash around, which is unfortunate.

Congrats !

Thank you, I appreciate the feedback. I am definitely considering adding the ability to rotate the camera in the post jam version as many other people have suggested that.

Very 90s, like a console mascot version of Metal Gear Solid. Could be expanded to have enemy variants, different colored cubes. Also powerups, like temporary speed boost, temporary invisibility, or like a doppelganger/distraction. Maybe have some levels that are more hill-based to take advantage of the rolling aspect of the character, and have some hole hazards for him to drop into. Also, this is probably too goofy, but maybe a golf course or a putt-putt course level or mini game.

Super cool game! I really like the controls and the concept. Hope to see you expand this into a larger game, with even more difficulty!

Nice game! The music and graphics are very 90s.

I do wish there were more challenging levels. It would also be nice to be able to rotate the camera left and right so you can see what's ahead of you, although I do appreciate the mini-map, which helped a lot. The dash ability is cool, but the cool down is so short, you can just zoom through every level with no consequences.

I ran into a bug where I was being chased by an enemy and got cornered, but the enemy just barely couldn't reach me, so I had to move around to get it to kill me so that I could restart. I also found that moving diagonally makes you go faster than just moving normally.

One last thing, I wish you could have the option to play the game in fullscreen.

Good  game! Fun and simple! Thanks for submitting it!

Glad you enjoyed it, I appreciate the feedback a lot.

This was a fun little game! Rollio controls very well, I enjoyed the contrast between the control of my regular rolling with the speed of the dash move,  they worked really well together.

I'd love to see a few more difficult stages towards the end of the game if your were to add more content in a future update

I plan on making a post jam version in the future.

Very nice! The progression from easier to harder levels felt very natural. I think the ability to control the camera would have been a great addition. Or maybe I just totally missed how to do this?

As a fellow sneak + dash developer Nice work :)

Developer

Thank you, I will consider adding that in the post jam version.

This is fantastic in pretty much every way!

Only issue I found is that I managed to get stuck in a corner blocked by one of the enemies. I couldn't get out and also wasn't damaged by the enemy so I had to quit and restart

I appreciate the feedback and I will take a look at that
