My submission for 7DRL 2022: https://pev285.itch.io/dungeon-doodles

I thought I'm making a rogue-like. It has randomly generated grid-based labyrinth and enemies positions and peradeath.

But it's not turn-based as most of submissions I saw so far. So now I'm not sure I've done it right.

Still hope you'll enjoy it.

My entry isn't turned based either. Turn based is part of the Berlin Interpretation but even Angband violates one of the rules and I doubt anyone would say that is not a roguelike.

Thank you!

Its an over-all fantastic game with the line-of-sight game mechanic keeping a player on toes anticipating whether or not there's an enemy behind the next wall or if that key is bait for a hoard of monsters!

For critique, I'd say some music would've added to the thrill and additional SFX would've fixed some emptiness I felt in the gameplay.

If you wish, you can try out my game as well: Join Me In Dystopia, Pirate! by IndieMonkey (itch.io). I'll be grateful if you leave a review!

Cheers!
