Wonderful job and one of the most "rogue-like" games I've played this jam!

The simple ascii art and in depth log kept me engaged and focused on combat. The turn based combat was engaging, the mutation system was a wonderful tweak on the classic rogue vibe, the variety of enemies was great, and the visibility being impacted by grass and dungeon depth was interesting.

Overall, this simple looking game ended up being pretty dang engaging, feature rich, and fun to play!!

Areas for improvement:
I may have gotten lucky but I was able to clear the dungeon on my first go, maybe the enemies could be balanced to be a bit more difficult!

Wonderful job, great jam entry, and congrats for a successful submission!

Wow, thank you for detailed feedback. Yeah I struggled with balancing, because small changes kept shifting the difficulty unpredictably :D

Cool game I like the classic ascii aesthetic and the mutations are a really nice twist that keeps the game ineteresting. Nice job

I really liked how much character you're able to convey with such minimal graphics, and I think despite the ASCII style, the simple lighting effects do a lot to make each run feel like a genuine adventure. Nice work!
