Hi, I loved the light effect on this one. It created a very cool illusion as if there were very high and dark walls. I think the idea of exploring without knowing what's behind some walls is really cool, it keeps you more focused. Sometimes my melee attack didn't hit the enemies for some reason (I think there's a problem with the collider's shape maybe (?)), but it didn't happen quite often, so it's fine in the end. The music choice is really fitting, and all the sprites are very well done. I love that the player's sprite updates on each upgrade as you mentioned, it really makes you feel more powerful. Overall I really enjoyed playing it.

Good job and good luck with it! <3333

Interesting, I can look into the hitboxes missing, but I actually made them much more generous than the visual appears. I had the opposite problem in testing, where one attack could hit an enemy 2-3 times.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Cool game! Good job on implementing procedural level generation. The fact that the shadows are very opaque and the same color as the walls makes it really hard to see the paths to get out of the current room. A minimap would have been a good addition :)
