What do you like about your game?
I'm proud of the music and the fact that it seems to function as intended (pending investigation)

The art looks really good and it's fun to try and mix some of the monsters to see what happens. But I didn't really know what I was doing since the interface is a little overwhelming at first so I just tried clicking everywhere hoping something good.
Still, it feels like a game with good potential, well done!
I had no idea what I was doing so I did a bunch of clicking and now I've got a bunch of alien cows(?)
But yeah, this was pretty fun, you've got an interesting away of creature colors. Like I said, I wasn't sure that I was doing.
Interesting idea. It's hard to grasp how the breeding works and that makes it really tricky to fulfill certain requests (like the getting the same letter sequence with no F or 0). The vibes of the game are really cool though. Music is a bop and the art style is pretty cool. I can also see the gameplay loop becoming really addicting if you provide a bit more direction to the player.
Thanks for playing! Yeah I ran out of time on the tutorial lmao- it's red green and blue genes from each parent based on colour hexes so like, if one parent is FF and the other is 00 you'll get F0 or 0F. I'm thinking of maybe trying to turn it into a more fleshed out game once I have slept for a solid week lol.
Sadly got a bug that made me unable to continue the game (coudn't select entities anymore)
Concept is interesting tho
I think I got the jist of it - no idea how the breeding genes roll but I bred, and fulfilled the requests I could. I think its a good game. Reminds me of old miniclip games where you have no idea whats going on but 4 hours later you wonder where all your time went.
That being said, there might be a bug where I can no longer right click after a while to set parent. (i can't troubleshoot beyond that)
congrats on the release
Yeah it's basically genetic inheritance of Red Green and Blue genes from each parent, one of each. I should have explained it better somewhere. I'm glad you still enjoyed it haha.
And yeah there is a bug I introduced in the last few hours trying to make that menu feel less weird to click on OTL turns off all the colliders when it's active but sometimes they don't get turned back on. Last minute edits are a bad idea who knew lmao.
the song is a frikkin BOP
Cute game :3 A bit difficult to execute a long term breeding plan with intentionality, but i like the creative use of hex color codes to make it appreciable at a glance instead of needing to constantly check a list of stats and tags.
Also I have a feeling this was partly inspired by a certain defunct flash game, and i wanna say i see n appreciate u ;3
Thanks xD'' yeah it's a bit of a mess. If I end up expanding on the idea I'll add like, paddocks or something lol. And the ability to tell them to stay put (though I don't promise to make you feel good about it)
Don't hate me but I actually have no idea what you're referring to 😭- I was inspired mostly by my frustration with games like Niche or Flight Rising (kindof a game sorta) where it's not based on how genes actually work. Originally it was going to be rabbits with Bb, Aa etc. But I decided to make it more to the theme and also less complicated lmao.
Sorry I think I might have needed to put less on screen at once xD'
There's mostly not a goal though except to see what you can make. There's some request goals you can try and fill but it's really just a sandbox to play around it. The colours are based on the genes they inherit from both parents mixed together- but maybe not in the way you'd expect.
a lot is going on in this game, but unfortunately i don't understand any of it.
