What do you like about your game?
The items and mutation system, the ridiculous amount of time I spent balancing progression and scaling, the polish for my standard, the art (which has improved so much!) and the sound design! (Plus it's my first real jam so this is a huge achievement, and a game I am happy with!)

Good looking and rather polished game
Too bad there are no checkpoints, it would have been really great
The game is too hard for having no checkpoint, and couldn't go past level 3

I also got the same map a lot of times, and I was able to block AIs on purpose by hiding behind a rock, waiting for the countdown to reach to an end

At first i didn't liked it. The movement was too sluggish and the character too small. And bonuses were too many and too insignificant on its own (i ended up with like ten bonuses that kind of did something). Also i didn't like that you couldn't see a preview of what the bonus will do before grabbing it. I mean its fine if you haven't encountered first so you have to try, but the next time after you have try it there should be a reminder of what it does (i know you could open inventory to see but that didn't felt right and it didn't show you the ones you tried in previous runs). And late game enemies with the wrong build were just impossible to kill.

But i keep playing like  3 more times and a got like a burst machine gun and the spring reload twice and it was awesome i liked the movement improvement the spring gave. I liked it so much i think  you should consider make a game just arround the spring reload mechanic. and if you consider continuing the game you must acomplish the same feeling i felt in this last run on almost all run and it will be a very good game. also very good art sound design and music but the character is too ᵗⁱⁿʸ to my taste

A clear inspiration from Risk of Rain game. It's impressive what you managed to made in the jam. The game is enjoyable and easy to get in. Some stuff could be improved is balancing the health of enemies: For example, I found the rock bat is way too tough compared to the prism enemy, which just make it kinda weird. Otherwise a great jam entry.

Interesting game, big major issue for me is the beggining of the game and enemy scaling.
The base controller feels very clunky , the slope assist does not help!
I think it's a mix of too slow and not floaty enough, but it feels very frustrating to navigate the stage.
After couple stages I just could not kill the enemies!
With some tweaks it could become a very nice game!
Also minor nitpick but it's hard to read the item descriptions and know what an item does because the lore is of the same size and color as the actual bonus!
And I don't really vibe with w to jump but that is on me I think? I would have roll to shift and space to jump but i think it's down to preferences

The environment and polish on the look of the game overall is quite nice, I was impressed with that. I'm not the biggest fan of the controls or the way the shooting feels, but this style of game is far from my typical.  An interesting game no doubt!

I'm really sorry main - I ran out of time in the last day and completely forgot to add scaling. Something to think of earlier for next time!
