Unfortunately, I got stuck at some point. Maeve asked me to fill my pockets, which I politely declined. After that I wandered around a bit until reaching the house with the dumpster next to it. I tried to go inside, but that didn't work. Unfortunately, I couldn't leave the area after that. There doesn't seem to be any other hotspot to interact with and I have no idea what to do.

From what I have seen so far, I can say that this is a really interesting setting. The artwork looks great. Black and white work wonders for the atmosphere. The music adds a lot to it, too. Didn't see too many puzzles, but I really enjoyed the jewel box one.

At the moment I don't feel like starting all over again, but I'll try again in the future. I really want to know what exactly is going on. Great work!

Beautiful game! I love the art and music!

A very stellar game! There are some buggy glitches in the puzzles but they are really engaging and felt really good solving it, the hand drawn artstyle looks really good, and I can see the main character looks like Omori. Amazing work I hope for an extended version!

The game looks super interesting! However, I got stuck on the first puzzle:

I assembled it like this, but nothing happened after :(

Jewel box is a bit bugged. As for the whole story and the narrative direction - you get, where you're going but it's presented so deep and in a very nice B&W design with musix boxes and nostalgic ambience (reminded me of emotional parts in Elfen Lied anime). Text is nicely cut, there's just enough of it. Very well written game on somewhat understandable issues. Thanks for this.

I got soft locked both times at the jewelry box in two attempts, but I really enjoyed everything leading up to it! Cool art, lots of different menacing characters. The narrative feels like it's boiling to something big throughout. There's a lot of variety in the puzzles and minigames. Nice work by everyone involved.

Why are you wearing that stupid man suit? Really atmospheric with great audio and visuals. Everything feels really consistent, puzzles are simple but engaging. Reminds me of rusty lake games. One thing that needs a small tweak is line thickness for objects and characters (character lines feel a bit too thin compared to backgrounds)

I adored it, the story was really good as well as the graphics!

Good job on the game! I think that it is really good. It has extremely good graphics., and it is terrifying that only the adults are completely shadowed. The music is fitting and builds a great atmosphere. I really like the writing and the story really catches the interest of the player. I did not really like timing mini-game during the digging. It was mostly trial and error, which I think is not fun. I liked the other puzzles though.

Unfortunately, the game has some bugs:

  • Similarly to the other person, I also got soft-locked after the lock-box. I tried returning to the title and starting the game again, but then I could not get past the vase scene and my inventory was still filled with my items.
  • The name of the currently speaking character can't be seen in full-screen mode. It seems like the name is located above the black bar

I hope you make an updated version of the game so that we can continue this interesting story.

My rating: 4.4/5

Really love the art! Atmosphere, music and writing were all solid. Unfortunately got soft-locked when I clicked off of the lock-box. Puzzles were cool, though the vase puzzle did feel a little too precise. Really had to play around with it to get it to actually snap.

Thank you for the feedback!

The art style is very pretty and Omori-ish. I'm a big fan of Omori, so I was immediately drawn.
