Nitpick: On Forest-3, for the ladder in the starting area, it is not possible to go up some way and then down all the way.

A player with little or no lag lost health when dashing into a blue enemy at:

I don't know whether that is a bug specific to that enemy or with Bokube-and-enemy collisions.

Henlo! I've spent a while playing the game now, and it's definitely a well made game that looks to be more or less finished. Before I continue I will say this is generally not the sort of game I'd play.

Most things about the game are great. The graphics look good, the music is fine (if a bit repetitive) and it plays fine too. There is nothing to really criticize here.

From the levels I played, they all seemed well designed and decently challenging. Most objectives were intuitive and nothing really stood out to me as being badly designed.

The game was also well polished and I noticed no major issues or bugs outside of loading after finishing a level.

What I didn't like though was some of the sound effects and camera controls.

The sound effects aren't really bad, but the noises the bunny makes should be much cuter, especially the noise when you get hurt or die.

The camera controls however I didn't like. They work I guess but I don't like that I have to use the arrow keys to control the camera, especially since you need to rotate it a lot. It'd be nice if there was some way to control the camera with the mouse. Maybe the game is designed for game pad first? But having mouse support wouldn't hurt.

I also noticed, when finishing a level sometimes the game would hang, sometimes really badly. At least once I fought the game had crashed. It might be good to add some sort of loading screen or something to indicate the game is doing something here, and maybe even a screen transition to the next level of some sort. Feels strange to just finish a level and then have a few second hang only for the next level to immediately start.

The game could use a proper title screen and some settings too. I'm sure at some point these will be added but outside of the default Unity pop up before opening the game I couldn't find any way to change them in game.

As I said, the game is clearly well made and close to being finished, so there isn't a whole lot for me to really comment on other  than these minor things. But you've done a good job so far, so keep it up!

Upon completing a stage, level transition feels like the game hangs: all is frozen until suddenly, next stage is here. No indication of completion or anything. A bit uncomfortable.

I’m always nervous to decide to launch out of a cannon, since I can never see where I’m going to be landing. I see some bit of hopefully game area over there, and I’m just hoping it’s somewhere valid.

It’s really cute and the music is nice. I’m ignoring everything on the HUD because I think most of it is entirely unnececessary: I don’t care about my time, I don’t need a constant reminder that ESC is available to quit (and a confirmation dialog would be nice), and I also don’t need a constant indicator of what zoom level I’m on.

Desert-3 rescuee still has a cage even after you move 3 yellow key blocks into place. Though you can still move into the rescuee and go to the next level.

Honestly, Bokube is very close to being ready for release. I'm happy to see it. Giving myself ten minutes I managed to complete one level, and overall it was a very solid experience.

how the hecc do I get past the ghosty boy at the end of Easter-2

one of them died when a bird died but the second one is still there

That must be a regression bug, I think there are three ghosts instead of two (two of the ghosts must be on top of each other), and the third ghost is not killed by the death of the third enemy).

There are also an awful lot of enemies in Easter-2, more than I would have thought.

Fun game. Wish I could let go of boxes with a button other than the dash.

First time playing, it's very cool. Just finished the tutorial. Everything is messaged really clearly, nice work there. The movement is fun, and everything looks great.

I feel as though games of this type live or die by their level sequence, and as of now it looks like a sort of temporary level select screen. The "tutorial" level itself could comprise about 5 or 6 smaller levels itself. It feels a little eager to teach you the mechanics, and not quite eager enough to enjoy the mechanics. In a mechanic-dense game like Super Mario Galaxy, there's a sort of precision to the introduction of a mechanic. It is taught, and then the player is given a chance to try out the new skill, experiment with it, and get a small victory from having learned it. I think this game would be served really well by such a thing.

At the end, freeing the other bunny from the cage is a great example of this. After beating the tutorial, I felt like I was dropped into a fairly complex level with something I didn't quite understand (a bunny on a stick rotating away from where I was). I want to play some more, so if I notice anything else I'll report back.

Keep it up, this is a very polished and cool game.
