Didn't seem to work for me? Or I just don't get it...

When I start, the number is immediately 6, enemies seem to be dying the frame they spawn unless I'm standing on the other spawner, and even then they often just die out of nowhere? Doesn't seem like anything can damage me either.

Ah SHIT, I forgot to turn that off. I have a setup with start at wave X for debugging purposes.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll put up a build soon putting that back to 0 along with some other fixes I made past couple nights.

  • godot web builds don't seem to work for me, this probably has nothing to do with you:

  • this is a nitpick, but i wish the .zip's name was more descriptive
    • did you forget to label the apple build or is the true MENHIT experience only available on apple?
  • i have no idea what is happening. i stand on a red square, then shoot at the other red square as orange orbs appear. the orange orbs instantly die. if i don't stand on a square then nothing happens

I got to level six and so many orange circles started spawning and the game slowed to a crawl so I killed it. I like the aesthetic quite a bit.

You got the basics in but it's obviously very early. i guess level 6 is the last? game just crashes after a while because its spawning too many objects. Here are some thoughts:

  • There's not much danger right now, enemies spawn and stay where they are, i never once got threathned 
  • No inertia on the player, im assuming it's in space so it would make it more interesting and fun if the player moved less binary
  • basic effects are good, i would go all in on that. use geometry dash as inspo
  • arrow showing the last few enemies outside of screen so i dont need to do a slow circle crawl trying to find them

Needs a dash function, also the 6th level had the whole screen become enemies and I wasn't able to shoot anymore
