Played once through, fairly fun. I don't have much to say since it's so early though. One thing is that ending dialogue with X(controller) will cause an attack afterwards, which interrupts you if you're trying to maneuver immediately at the start of a boss fight.  It wasn't until afterwards that I found I could press Y instead.

The art and animations are great. The music is solid too. For some reason I was moving extremely fast and it made fighting almost impossible. I still managed to beat the demo but it made dodging the skeletons really hard.

Great art and animations, enjoyed the wacky intro sequence. Test font and redrawn godot logo is cute.
Bosses seem to have more invuln frames than the player, especially the mushroom boss. And the game crashed in the skeleton valley.
Sound cues really help with the bosses, but the audio was turned off by default which I didn't notice during the slime boss fight.
Also for some reason when I first set the game to fullscreen - the screen was flashing every second or so. When I exited - the game went borderless, so I couldn't change it's position. But after that the fullscreen wasn't flashing.
I really like it, but I suck at these kind of games.

Thanks for playing, I fixed the simpler stuff to fix after your stream. It was very helpful, thank you!

Backflipping is fun. Skeletons suck. Music is cool.

I liked it.

I had a lot of fun with this, especially liked the opening cutscene and boss runs.
For some reason though boss health wasn't updating for me.  Also wish the character moved a bit faster, but you can get around it by spamming dodge.

Great job and progress!
