I like the idea of a 3d Jump King, it's something that for sure has potential, but the third dimension ramps up the difficulty even more, it's hard to land jumps precisely and avoid hitting walls. Several times I had to reallocate my position with short jumps and this was not very fun. In Jump King, bouncing off walls works more as a movement gimmick than a punishment.

Also a minor bug: after falling and sliding from a platform, the character started floating

Problem with xcb. I enjoyed what I was able to play though. Keep up the great work. The character animation was a lot of fun! I liked how the screen didn't have any UI clutter so you could experience the look and atmosphere of the game.

First time playing Nolgorb's Ordeal. Aesthetically it looks really nice, but it's definitely not fun. I know rage games like this tend not to be designed with that in mind, but other rage games have managed to have interesting mechanics, such as Pogo 3D.

It needs steam installed - tries to load ~/.steam/sdk64/steamclient.so on Linux

Does it run if you rename the two .so files to something else?

Nop, just fails to load those in that case. I will play later on a setup that has Steam installed, please dont steal my account desu

Played some while feeling too stupid to play anything else https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2191325871

Compared to last time I played, I noticed that the jump is more powerful. Probably a good change, feels more FUN.

The starting area somehow has a wizard now where you can immediately turn sth. in (even though it appears you got nothing). Imho the old starting grounds felt more sovlful, as it lay in ruins. But the new one is easier, more straight-forward; which is probably good. Flavourwise I think the whole stuff with the wizard makes no sense.

I don’t like the appearance of the backpack and really wished I could remove it; I think it also makes it harder to see your current jump charge-up.

Jumping while looking at your hands is a bit bugged.

Very nice intro cutscene this time around. This game is charming and you nailed the Crash vertex-style animation. However, it seems there is a lot of content but nobody ever gets to see it. It's just too punishing right now.
