A true flash like game, it is like going back 20 years into the past. Everything from the graphics, to the sound to the gameplay is peak macromedia flash.
I managed to find safe ways to deal with all normal mooks except the robber. The crocodile is funny because to safely defeat it you have to put your character on top of it and then start punching. I didn't use the special moves much, I got hit every time I used them. I also didn't have much problems with the bosses.
There is no invincibility frames so there is a high chance of getting comboed while being stunned, it feels unfair.
The last boss kinda breaks the rules of the game without being able to stun it. I managed to make it leap back once, but I'm not sure how it happened. Also its cutscene, like the starting cutscene, should also be skippable (I know about the options menu checkbox, but I don't want to risk not being able to see the end game cutscene).
Thank you for playing and leaving feedback! This is probably the most comprehensive and agreeable review I've found of the game so far (unless I forgot about one from earlier DDs).
Simple and fun, good music and artwork reminiscent of old flash games. Decent enemy variety, although boss fights could use more varied attack patterns. Also, I found that restarting the level gives you all your lives back. I'm assuming this is unintended. Anyways, not much complaints here. Glad to see the full release.
Thanks for checking it out! And do you mean restarting the level in practice mode gives you your lives back, or do lives reset when you go to the next stage?
An arcade fighting game that reminds me the flash games of yore! Played through the first three levels
Great: -Music: catchy tune
-Artwork: appropriate for an arcade game
-Variety of enemies: the thief one stood out to me because it transforms mid-health into a ranged enemy
Not so great:
Bosses: They felt too easy. Also the first one (skater) was annoying and not as engaging waiting for him to skate by
Mini-game: It was alright, but it had nothing to do with the rest of the game. Maybe at the end of every level, you have the mini-game and if we pass a certain threshold, it rewards us with additional lives
Combat: Too simple, I thing a block button is required to make it more energetic.
Thank you for the feedback! I hadn't realized until now that the fishing minigame would feel out of place/unusual to anyone who isn't a very specific subset of zoomer lol.
Did not play very long, as it doesn’t really appeal to me personally, but seems well made. Every enemy type being a bit different and requiring some slight tactic.
It's finally out, thank you guys for all your support and feedback over the past year. This community helped me tremendously and I'll always be thankful for everyone in it, even the crabs. Enjoy!

Heavy newgrounds/kongregate/old flash vibes. Managed to reach the last boss, got oneshot right after the anthem. Kino.
Final boss is a tiny bit unfair (I did beat him in the practice), but other than that - it's like a time capsule to simpler times. Very, very nice.
I found it very fun, I like the new additions you made. Reminds me of playing flash games. Great job.
I played the game and reached the final boss

Overall a nice little game!

Oh, I must have been playing on practice mode by accident. I just played again and it seems to reset to the first level again.

Thank you for trying it out regardless! VODs and gameplay videos are always highly appreciated.
