The problem is you're trying to make a real videogame with RPG Maker.

My very first experience is going through literally 30 fucking menu screens trying to create a team with RPG Maker controls. No I don't care about your randomly generated slop backstories, you don't have to ask every time! Yes I'm SURE! I don't want to *tick-tick-tick* through every single menu option to see what the classes are. I want to mouse over in a millisecond then mouse over something else in a millisecond.

I was hoping it was going to be like one of those roguelike games where you start a run, die horribly, then on to the next run in like 5 minutes.

I'm being especially impatient because to me it's just some .exe I downloaded for free.

It's not exactly RPG maker, but I do understand what you are feeling there since it is the best way in engine I was able to find to showcase all of the classes. It's not a Rogue like game, more closer to Wizardery and older games akin to it where the main party is selected and kept through the whole campaign which I made to last 20-40 hours (the Demo version takes 1-2 hours). But thank you for playing and for the input.

There are a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes that can sometimes make it hard to understand the instructions. I'd really recommend getting a proofreader to go through and fix them.

This seems like it could be really cool, once it's closer to completion. Good luck!

Thank you for playing. Some of it is due to the engine's editor being not optimized with the GPU compared to the exported version, where it can lag when trying to type something out.

Just gave it a quick try. It looks like it could be cool, but in my short playthrough I couldn't find any enemies to fight to see if the combat was any fun other than the slug. I think its a mistake having your first location be in a town, where there's mostly shops and people asking if you want upgrades. At this point in the game, I have no idea on the power level and skills/weaknesses of my party vs the enemies I haven't yet encountered. If you start the game off in a dungeon, you can understand the base power of your party. I got a quest to go do something in a prison, but with the large size of the town and with no map or any way to know where the prison was, I just gave up.

Thank you for playing. I mostly wanted the town at the start for a way to make the player figures things out to force the tutorial for basic stuff before the tutorial dungeon, but maybe having a dungeon right at the start before the town would have been better.
