This must be one of the most visual interesting games I've seen in this jam. Having said that though, the game needs a lot of work. Below I list some of the bugs and points of improvement:

- Run button doesnt work, it throw me back at the enemy with no buttons of what to do, effectively stuck

- Item button doesnt work. It just displays "You rummage through your pack" without doing anything

-The gameover options dont work, they throw me back at the enemy with no options of what to do

-The new game doesnt work, ony quickstart

-Pretty sure some changes in the display styles mesh up the graphics, got some red lines spreading all over the city menu

-Event cards dont work and mesh up the rest of the dungeon by showing over every subsequent card

-Xp, wp and sp cards are difficult to discern

-There is no indication of how much coins I carry, not in the shop where its needed nor in the city menu where some challenges require an amount of coins

-When the terror increases the viewpoint shrinks. While a cool visual effect, it gets in the way most of the time and becomes annoying. You cant see the forest location and it persists even in challenges blocking the text.

-Couldnt understand exactly what I was doing in terms of the scenario other than that I was following an urchin (why?) and he had some flowers (why?). The events text require another passive to become more cohesive with each other

-After the forest location, where I did three searches, I had and ERROR! location pop up at the top bar

-What are those dice at the loot screen. It seems like a gameplay mechanic not implemented yet.

Cool game though. Interested to see where it goes from here. Carry on!

Played it and got stuck on the 5th level. There are some genuine ideas for a platformer, but are often presented in an unbaked form. Look up several game design videos for platformers to get the gist of it. Graphics are wild (surreal some might say) and I didnt read up the lore, sorry :(. Keep up the good work!

Cute little 3D Puzzle game. The main complain is that there is only one route to the ending and you can find it just by trial and error. Keep experimenting with the puzzles and maybe add deadends in higher levels to spice things up!

I downloaded and played the game on windows. The web version just didnt work on me (WebGL context lost, please reload the page)

I beat the second and the third levels and procceeded to die again and again on the 4th room of the first level

It seems Hotline Miami just became a genre! This game has potential:

Great:

-Combat (bat): It feels good to strike enemies in this game (I would have liked if an enemy could bounce off each other). Also rushing to pick up your glasses after taking dmg makes for frantic fight scenes.

-Level Design: I liked the destructable objects and their usage in the rooms (ATM's block paths that the enemies can take, switches turn off the lights). The train level (although technically compromised, I was stuck inside the train and couldnt get out) shows great potential for the levels to be sth different than just room-corridor-room.

Music: Remove the "turn off music" button and bring it on

Not so great:

-Combat (gun). The power of the bat is so compelling that the gun isn't much fun in this game and it slows the combat down.

-Difficulty: Too many enemies that carry guns

-Technical Problems: The AI of the enemies appears to be stuck at certain times, I cant pick up another gun after the one I'm holding runs out of bullets, the particles of the smashed ATM's persist on the floor after many retries...

Keep up the good work!

The game is clearly an FTL clone and although I have played the original, I can't understand how this game works. The UI is clattered with too many symbols, none of which betray what they represent just by looking at them.

I think this game needs a tutorial ASAP!

Keep it up!

An arcade fighting game that reminds me the flash games of yore!
Played through the first three levels

Great:
-Music: catchy tune

-Artwork: appropriate for an arcade game

-Variety of enemies: the thief one stood out to me because it transforms mid-health into a ranged enemy

Not so great:

Bosses: They felt too easy. Also the first one (skater) was annoying and not as engaging waiting for him to skate by

Mini-game: It was alright, but it had nothing to do with the rest of the game. Maybe at the end of every level, you have the mini-game and if we pass a certain threshold, it rewards us with additional lives

Combat: Too simple, I thing a block button is required to make it more energetic.

Keep up the good work!
