This is a really commendable level of artistic skill on display! The theming of the game is fantastic, and I really love the design of the Crow Boss.
I think some dramatic/scary music would have gone a long way to setting the scene here. I couldn't get the reassembling to work when I fell apart all at once, and I wasn't sure how to attack anything.
Very inspired choice in visual direction, though! This could definitely go in a great & unique direction
I love the separating and recalling limbs feature. I also think the art and backstory are really strong. For beginners this is really impressive!
the art here is actually so impressive and the concept is interesting. for being complete beginners with it all you both did well :) i think this could turn into a very cool game and you should see about maybe polishing it up a bit more after this!
You guys definitely lead with your art, those are some really impressive sprites not to mention your trailer! Now obviously combat features had to be kept from the final build due to your aforementioned learning level and I really empower you to recognize that its okay. Its taken 4 jams, 3 personal projects, and 5 years of experience with Unity to get this far so know that if the good ole CS imposter syndrome kicks in you're doing fine you've just got years and experience to catch up on I was where you are now when I was at your level of experience.
Serious props guys you made it really far for a two person beginner team!
I worked with wyvern making a darkly themed character whose body separates and reattaches.
They created all the art, characters and the main concept for the game while I did the programming.
The time constraint and noviceship kept intended combat features from this release.
After the project there remain many bugs and many unity lessons. Thanks cwyvern for collaborating.
