  • Wow, what a challenge. I just wanted to keep playing to get that little bit further each time.

  • Fast paced!  Pretty quickly you learn to RUN LIKE HELL to survive the foxes.  The game kicked up a notch for me when I realized the only way I would survive for long was to trap the foxes in the snares!  Once you become PSYCHO BUNNY you have a chance to win.  Sadly, I never did, but I had fun trying over and over in quick games -- kinda like Tom Cruise in EDGE OF TOMORROW.

As with submission TURTLE TRIVIA, here the simple graphics belie an addictive gameplay mechanic: outrun your enemy.

Consider randomizing placement of objects and fox starting positions.  On the other hand, the only way I could increase my survival time from play to play was to memorize where the foxes would appear, which helped me plan where I would trap them in a snare (I say again: PSYCHO BUNNY).

Good use of vignetting on camera.

  • YES! This is an amazing game loop you guys have come up with, and the game itself is very polished! I was so addicted I couldn't quit (despite not being able to win a single round :P). I particularly like how you have a bunch of random levels! So here is my feedback for you guys.

1 - Obviously the lack of audio is the first thing I noticed. Some sound effects and some gentle ambient forest sounds or background music would have been the icing on the cake for this game.

2 - The game was incredibly difficult, I was unable to win the game once. There are a couple of things you could do to make it a bit easier. My initial thought was to implement a very short sprint boost ability, so that the player can get an advantage on any foxes chasing him. I also thought the drag/drifting on the player character could be reduced a bit so the movement is a bit more precise - not get rid of it entirely but definitely reduce it.

3 - It felt like in the majority of levels that the amount of foxes made it really hard to successfully navigate. I had a couple of possible ideas regarding this. Initially I thought you could add a warning state for the foxes so that just before you go into their chase zone they play a sound and rotate towards the player. The other idea I had was to simple make the camera FoV larger so that you can see a bit more of your surroundings and can react a bit earlier.

4 - A small minimap in the top left or right hand corner of the screen for this game would be beneficial so you have more of an idea of where you have to go. It doesn't have to display the enemies, but just for navigation to the rabbit hole.

Overall I really enjoyed this game! It was very addictive, it hits the themes perfectly, and I was super engaged by this game. You guys should be very, very proud of what you were able to achieve! Great work!

My favorite entry! I really enjoyed it. Solid visuals, good controls, enjoyable and meets the theme perfectly.

My feedback would be to add some chunk/scream/or gore sounds to the traps, I also found it hard sometimes to lure the fox into traps but im not exactly sure how that mechanic could be improved.

Also I could bypass most of the foxes around the top edge and only had to deal with a couple.

Challenging game which seemed to really have little room for player error, great job
